Steve & Elaine the owners are brilliant nothing is too much for them. Elaine made us offee as soon as we arrived and Steve chatted to us while we drank it and then helped us upstairs with our luggage Hotel is absolutely spotless and room 4 which we stayed in was beautiful and spacious, large shower in a beautiful en suite. Breakfast was delicious & cooked to perfection with plenty of choice. Lovely bar area next to the dining area. We will definitely be visiting the Arthington Hotel again. Fantastic hotel ! ☆☆☆☆☆+.

Had never been before, found hotel on booking.com but phoned hotel directly to book. Proprietor Steve sounded really nice and helpful. When we arrived in Blackpool we got a bit lost, Steve phoned to see if we were close, which we were, he then stayed on the phoned to my wife on loudspeaker, giving me street by street directions, brilliant !! Booked in, it was beautiful, I immediately asked if we could book for an extra night but sadly it was fully booked all weekend and we were lucky to get even one night. Great location between tower and pleasure beach. Great room, all the little extras, kettle and coffee percolator, biscuits, sweets and Blackpool rock. The decor, furniture and even lamps and mirrors were gorgeous and very classy. The proprietors Steve and Elaine were so nice and genuine it was our pleasure to be in their company. Bar and restaurant area was very very nice, exceptional even. Did not want to leave the following day. Over the past forty years we've stayed in a lot of hotels, holiday parks in the UK and abroad and this was right up there with the very best. Will definitely be going again !!

We stayed at the Arthington for one night. Steve was so welcoming, phoned us on the way to check we weren't lost. When we arrived he was waiting to sort out our parking which was at the top of the street, secured with lockable bollards. Our room on arrival was immaculate. Lots of lovely little touches such as coffee maker, kettle, slippers, robes, toiletries. The communal areas were spotlessly clean. There is a bar inside the hotel if you want to stop for a drink there. Breakfast was one of the nicest I've had for a long time, choice of full English, pancakes, waffles, fruits, cereals and lots more. All beautifully presented and and served piping hot. The hotel is in a great position for access to both the Pleasure Beach end and the Tower side of Blackpool. I will definitely stay here next time I come.

I always check the reviews on both Booking.com and Tripadvisor. Sometimes you are amazed how people rate places so highly, but this was certainly not one of those occasions. Steve and Elaine are fantastic hosts, and have thought of everything, even ear plugs, although they were not needed. Thoroughly recommend a stay here.

Well yet another fabulous week spent here, Elaine and Steve are definitely the best host’s ever it’s like going to visit friends nothing is to much trouble for them. The breakfast is absolutely stunning fresh fruit , great choice of cereals, yoghurt’s,fruit juices and then fantastic choice of cooked items to suit every taste and great quality. Think we may have now stayed in almost every room all decorated in a different unique style, brilliant furnishings so clean and comfortable and the location is fabulous just yards to the promenade and a bus or tram stop . We wouldn’t stay anywhere else here’s to the next time

Had a one night stop in this little beauty on a quick trip to Blackpool to watch a gig. From the moment we entered the building, Steve & Elaine could not do enough for you. They both go beyond & above to make your stay welcome. The room was amazing with the most comfortable of beds. The full English breakfast was to die for. Will definitely stop here again next time we venture to Blackpool

Nothing negative to write at all! Parking in short supply on the road but the b&b has private parking which can be arranged beforehand or on the day. Great location across from the beach. A very warm welcome upon arrival. A wonderfully warm, vibrant decor which is individual to each room. Breakfast was delicious with a wide choice of fresh fruits/cereal and then a full English breakfast. The attention to detail at The Arthington is apparent from the outset and Steve and Elaine couldn't have been more lovely. This will always be my first choice when revisiting Blackpool.
