Greeted by one of the very friendly and helpful owners who informed us of nearest cash machines, parking and breakfast times/options. Room and bathroom were very clean, beds really comfortable, lots of space for clothes and plenty of tea and coffee. Breakfast was excellent (best I've had from a B&B) owners both present and helpful at breakfast. Full English/veggie breakfast,...

We stayed here on a 3 day Wowcher deal and got a very clean room with en-suite, plenty of tea and coffee provided and an excellent breakfast. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful so couldn't fault it at the price. You have to provide your own towels, but we knew that before we came, so no problem...

We visited this charming hotel last month with a view to using it as a base to explore the Fylde Coast and it did not disappoint. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners and we were made very welcome on our 2 night break. The rooms were lovely with a super family room facility as well. Breakfast was great...

We stayed a couple of nights on a Groupon deal. Room 3 at the top of the first flight of stairs, very clean and comfy with tea making facilities but no view. Read the 'small print' so packed our own towels, everything else provided. Excellent freshly cooked hot breakfasts, with friendly host, staff and guests. Trams, tower and both north...

Firstly the attraction of this 'hotel' was the price, and, as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. Don't expect a hotel even though it's called the Derwent Hotel. It's really a guest house with 12 rooms available for hire. None of the rooms has a view to write home about. Our room was on the 3rd level...
