Upon arrival at the Guest House we were met by the Guest house owners Donna & Mark. really warm welcome and things explained about front door where room was and Breakfast and bar opening times. Once the formalities were taken care of we set off to the room
(No.4) which was situated on the first floor and overlooking the front elevation. Double bed very comfy towels all matched and room was really colour coordinated and very clean (Smaal quite Fridge too ). The onsuite bathroom is the well equiped with toilet, sink and full size corner shower (as bathrooms go its Massive).

Breakfast was lovely with unlimited Toast,Coffee & Tea,there was also Fruit bowl, Cereals, Yogurts &Cereal bars.

the main course of breakfast was Bacon,Sausage,Egg,Hash Brown,Beans and Toms. now i expected it to be the normal keep warm on hot plate then micro waved to heat.
Oh no so so wrong Donna and Mark do the Tom's and Beans old school in a saucepan and they are piping hot and the Egg is cooked fresh too.

Anyway if you have any doubts don't this Guest has is a real Gem and we have already booked to return later in the year.

Blackpool is far from being my favourite place to visit. This weekend was to catch up with some special friends.
We stayed at the Libra, a little gem. We received a warm welcome as soon as we arrived, helped with the cases to our room.
The room was spotless, nicely decorated, comfy had everything you needed for your stay, plentiful tea and coffee , mugs not tiny cups, toiletries, large bath towel, Freeview tv , plenty of plug sockets, powerful shower
Breakfast was really nicely cooked piping hot. The hosts couldn’t do enough for you, naturally friendly. Looking for a great B&B I recommend the Libra, it also has a good stocked bar and car parking

A very relaxing two night stay. The twin room was clean, comfortable, good WIFI, amazing shower and the added bonus of free parking. Great location, around 10 minutes walk to Central and North Piers and

Donna and Mark were friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble for them and they also served very tasty, hot breakfast. They made our short stay half term treat an enjoyable experience for me & my son. I would not hesitate to book again if I was visiting Blackpool,

First of all we would like to say a big thank you to Donna & Mark who made our stay even more enjoyable with their warm friendly welcome they couldn't do enough for us.

The room was spotless the bed was comfy there was plenty of wardrobe and drawer space for your belongings and the shower absolutely amazing so powerful.

The cooked breakfast was excellent piping hot with plenty of tea and coffee refills and extra toast if required Donna remembered all the guests preferences including mine with the egg and beans. There is also a selection of cereals, yoghurt and fruit available if you didn't want a cooked breakfast.

There is a fully stocked bar and nice lounge area to enjoy a drink and chat with other guests and Donna & Mark in the evening.

Parking is available on request which is an added bonus.

All in all we had a lovely few days and would highly recommend this little gem of a hotel.

Thanks again to you both 10 out of 10 !!! .

2 friends, my Husband and myself have just had a wonderful weekend at this hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for the Hosts, Donna and Mark. Rooms were exceptionally clean with complimentary biscuits, tea coffee and the bathroom had a great array of toiletries. Breakfast was a wonderful full English with unlimited tea/coffee and toast. Donna is also very knowledgeable about places to visit in Blackpool. We will definitely visit here again.

We went Friday to Sunday as we were dancing in the Tower Ballroom on Saturday and the Hotel Libra is a 5 minute walk away. Mark and Donna were wonderful hosts very friendly and welcoming nothing is too much trouble for them. The room was lovely ,clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic, hot, fresh and very tasty. The added bonus of off street free parking is also good. 5 minutes walk to the sea front , tower etc. Would highly recommend and will visit again. Just received a Christmas card from them today which shows they value their customers.

Arrived at this hotel to a wonderful welcome from Donna and Mark. We were shown to our spacious room no. 4 with an equally spacious en suite. The bed was really comfy and a lot of thought had gone into everything. There were tea and coffee facilities, lots of toiletries, plenty of wardrobe space and we just could not fault the cleanliness here.
Breakfast was lovely with cereals, yogurts, fruit and a yummy hot full English too which was not swimming in grease.
The hosts at this hotel are second to none!!

Our review can only echo others already submitted. Superb B@B ideally located for all attractions and sea front.

Hosts Donna and Mark are super friendly and go out of their way to make sure you are happy with everything, not that you couldn’t be because everything is perfect.

The reception room/ bar area is so cosy and welcoming and a great place to end your evening having a well earned night cap after all that walking around.

Full English breakfast cooked to your requirement's with all diets catered for. Cereals, yoghurts beautiful fresh warm toast which without asking will be refilled.the service and standard is faultless.

We were on top floor, lovely room with lovely comfy double bed. So peaceful and quiet.

Without hesitation would recommend THE LIBRA and would also stay here again without hesitation and will recommend to family and friends. All the other guests were returning guests who have stayed multiple times. This says everything about THE LIBRA.

What can I say but amazing, the owners Donna and Mark are so warm and welcoming, fun and bubbley. They only open this 18 months ago but hey tge have it prefec. Well done.

We stayed over last night our first of two, the hotel is decorated for Christmas, with some lovely little home touches including Kevin and family!!
The fire burner in the main room made everything that little bit more special. And we met Bear the family dog.

We got the twin room at the top of the house, a few stairs but we'll worth the climb. Our room is beautifully decorated with warm colours and thick carpet. The beds are so comfty I could live here. We have our own en-suite which is huge, brillant size shower and not the usual, can't swing a cat but ample room to move in.

We just had our breakfast which is between 8 and 09:30 and it was fabulous, nice hot food, Beautiful cooked and everything was just prefect. We met some of the other residents who were lovely, and spent a good hour just chit chatting with them and the owners.

I would highly recommend this hotel you just can't get any better.

It's warm, friendly, clean and well worth the price you pay, I will not be staying anywhere else in the future but here.

Thank you Donna and Mark for making us feel so welcome.

Me and my husband have just returned from Hotel Libra after staying for the weekend. Our stay has just been perfect from start to finish, hosts are both so friendly and cannot do enough for you, the entire hotel is perfectly clean and like a home from home. Breakfast was beautiful and again the hosts are so attentive, always on hand for anything else you might need. Lovely cosy bar to have an evening drink. Perfectly located on palatine Road, not too far to walk to centre but just far enough to be out of the way of busy bars. Added bonus of our own car parking space. We have stayed in many bed and breakfast places in blackpool over the years but Hotel Libra will definately be the one we will always use from now on.
