Detailed Reviews
We were warmly greeted when we arrived at the hotel and instantly felt welcomed.
Our family room was comfortable and spotless. Linens and towels were cleaned and smelled devine!!
Breakfast was delicious and cooked perfectly, lots to choose from and there were several choices of cereals and pastries to fill up on.
The dining room and bar area were absolutely charming and I loved the eclectic decor and mix of music memorabilia and charming cookoo clocks. I spent ages just looking around.
Couldn't possibly find fault in this fabulous, welcoming and comfortable hotel. I would without hesitation recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Blackpool.

I really cannot recommend this hotel enough. I have just returned home after celebrating my 60th birthday and have had a wonderful time. When in Blackpool I would not stay anywhere else. Myself and my partner have been going here for many years and the owners Gary and Sheryl cannot do enough for you. Rooms are very clean and to a high standard, breakfast is excellent, my partner loves the full English breakfast and if there is anything you would like that is not on the menu then the owners will do there best to accommodate. Such a very friendly hotel which feels like home from home the minute you walk through the door as you are made to feel very welcome, if you are looking for a hotel to stay while in Blackpool give the new esplanade a try, you won't be disappointed

This place is just fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble for the lovely owners and every time we visit it’s always the same.. FAULTLESS.
The amazing location, the cleanliness of not just the rooms but the entire hotel is first class. The meals served in the bar are delicious and so reasonably priced. Breakfast is of a very high standard and more than enough is on the plate.
Free parking is on site and the pleasure beach is only a five minute walk away.
Already planning our next visit, we never want to go home :(

Just returned again from a four night stay at The New Esplanade and as before we are totally blown away with the whole experience.
The cleanliness is absolutely second to non from inside the hotel to the windows outside and that’s something you don’t find very often in many hotels. The breakfast is delicious and there’s plenty to choose from to ensure you start your day nice and full.
The rooms are also very well presented and extremely comfy beds with good quality linen to ensure a good nights sleep for the next day.
The family who run the Hotel Sherel, Gary, Chloe and Oliver are truly wonderful genuinely caring and again something you just never find when staying away from home.
If you want to make your holiday more special and memorable then I suggest you book now before someone else beats you to the post and i can whole heartedly guarantee you will not find better no matter how hard you try.
Enjoy your stay and have a wonderful holiday.
Paul & Joanne

This is our favourite hotel in Blackpool for so many reasons.
We have been staying here for the last 3 years for many sort breaks .From the first time we met Sheryl and her family we felt at home .
The hotel is beautifully maintained spotlessly clean.
The rooms are well equipped and comfortable all on suite.
The breakfast choices are good everything we require.
The lounge bar is comfortable and there is a pool room separate from the lounge .
During covid Sheryl followed all precautions e.g. staggered breakfasts table service hand gel masks .
The bar also serves reasonably priced bar meals and a very well stocked bar including 40+ Gins .
We have 2 more short breaks booked this year and will be back in 2022.
Also a plus for any hotel in Blackpool is a large free car park .

Just returned home from Sherel's lovely New Esplanade hotel, had a fantastic 4 night stay over the Bank Holiday. Haven't been for a year for covid lockdown reasons so this was a very welcome return to our second home. A very warm welcome when my wife and i arrived but no hugs due to regulations, Gary has been busy decorating again and doing more subtle changes to make guests stays safer, hand sanitizer located at points around the whole hotel. Everyone socially distanced in the lounge bar area and staggered meal times for breakfast to ensure the dining room is not too crowded. Thanks Sherel, Gary, Chloe and Oliver for a wonderful safe stay, will be back before you know it. Until then keep safe Sue and Dave 🤗

Booked to take my wife to Sherel's as a surprise for the 2 days New Year's Party . What a fantastic break made even more special as my Sister was there with her husband as well. The festivities started with wonderful buffet followed by party games leading up to everyone seeing in the New Year ! New Years day was a do your own thing day until the 4 course evening meal followed again by party fun and games all organised by Sherel's daughter Chloe and son Oliver ,both did a fabulous job keeping all entertained . Gary also played his part keeping all guests fed for 2 days, the homemade chicken curry being exceptional on new year's eve! And finally mine host Sherel for running the show , making sure everyone was happy, thank you all for getting 2020 off to such a Wonderful start ,will be back soon all the best to all the Family for 2020 😁

What a fabulous place to stay! First visit here recommended by my nephew. This place is well deserving of their excellent reviews. Just like home from home. Nothing was too much trouble, Cheryl and Gary go all out to ensure a fantastic stay. My daughter and I stayed in room 9 for three nights
Accommodation is spotlessly clean, comfortable beds great location for pleasure beach and south pier right on the seafront. The bar area and lounge is wonderful for tv, chatting over drinks or a game of pool. A real cool American diner feel about the place. Very well kept and inviting. What a great time we had as the sign in the hallway says come as strangers leave as friends!! Absolutely wonderful thank you 😊

Arrived Monday morning, and because of the Queens Funeral blackpool was essentially closed for the day, checking in with Sherel she advised us that our rooms would be available about dinner time so we decided along with some other guests staying at the hotel to avail ourselves to the refreshments Sherel provided us and watch the days events unfold in the lounge on one of the very large screen televisions. Monday respectfully behind us we proceed to enjoy the rest of our holiday. The esplanade team making sure everyone was well fed at breakfast time, and all guests were sorted out with plans for the day, anything you want to know about local events or attractions just ask Sherel who has a wealth of knowledge in this area. The new esplanade as usual is spotlessly clean and tidy and all meals carefully prepared for you by Sherels other half Gary ,abally assisted by daughter Chloe and son Oliver who make sure everyone has a wonderful stay. Thanks to you all for looking after us ,see you when you open next year. Can't wait for our next visit, All the best for the New Year ,love Sue,Ann,Dave and Gary
