This was our 8th stay at this wonderful hotel over a period of the last few years since seeing it on Four in a Bed in 2018. We were impressed when seeing the owners and their hotel on TV, but when you actually experience a stay here, it is even better than you would anticipate.

We stayed from Monday 11th December 2023 to Friday 15th and we were fortunate enough to be in the magnificent Queen Suite again. This was literally a day before booking and we couldn't believe it was free! We were due to go to Lanzarote for 2 weeks but my wife has been seriously ill for the last few months and cannot fly and with her health being fragile we had to wait until the last minute to book. The hotel booking team were so helpful when I called and were ultra efficient as always.

The Hotel Sheraton is always our go to Hotel in the UK as it never ever lets us down. In our opinion it is the best hotel for value for money and comfort in the UK and the best thing is, it's in our beloved Blackpool!

Everything was perfect and what we noticed most was that there has been no cutting back here due to the horrendous costs that businesses are incurring, it remains fully staffed, fully maintained and wonderfully warm. So many hotels are cutting right back on heating nowadays but here we were cosy and warm from the moment we set foot in the building.

It was so lovely to see the same staff whom have been there for years, lovely Debbie on Reception, many familiar Restaurant staff and the two excellent Managers, Jimmy, the Master of the Entertainment department and the awesome and efficient bar staff. It feels like home from home each time we go.

The clientele is of the older generation (we're far from young ourselves) and they love to enjoy themselves and there is never any trouble or bad behaviours to have to contend with.

The food was absolutely first class, we loved every single course of every single meal, and the Service was as efficient and pleasant as ever.

All of the pricing remains fair and there have been no extortionate rises like so many others have done.

Our room was kept in its original immaculate state by an awesome gentleman called Cristian who was so efficient and pleasant, as are all of the House Keeping staff. the bed is like sleeping on a cloud and the luxury linen and towels are a real treat. Being 6ft3" a massive bed is perfect. The power shower was as good as ever, like having a bath standing up!

It was lovely to see Ollie and Liz again, who continue to put their heart and soul into this establishment as they always have done, they go way above and beyond what is expected to ensure that us Guests have the best time when away. We wish Ollie all the very best with his forthcoming Wedding and hope that this Hotel never leaves their family as they are all born and natural Hoteliers.

Again, a massive sincere and humble THANK YOU to EVERYONE in EVERY Department at the Sheraton, we will be back and will continue to recommend to all.

Dave and Sam Woolrich.

We always stay in this hotel in one of the following suites(Queen or king) as they have an exquisite sea view. That gives you the best sunsets and sunrise in a morning👌. The hotel staff are very helpful and will accommodate if they are able. The food very nice & is varied, there is something for all. Breakfast is fab! Entertainment is nightly and on our visits have been exceptional.

We had a little blip this time when staying....we paid extra to arrive early(1pm). However when we arrived at 1.10 the room wasn't ready as the domestic was new and still in the room. Personally I would have expected the room to be a priority and cleaned by an experienced domestic given the price these rooms cost. As the young lady was new she didn't move any of the furniture on either days as the crumbs were still there. We left them on purpose to see if this was the case. Given the room wasn't ready till 1.40pm the staff were very helpful and didn't quibble in refunding our extra payment. 4 stays 1 blip....Still love the place.

Hi Thank you for your lovely review and awarding as five stars. I think the three suites have the best view in Blackpool. As you mentioned you can see the Sunrise in the east and the Sunset in the west from the 270° bay window. These are the best bedrooms in the hotel and I can only apologise for the blip. If you encounter any problems on the future, stay, please come and see me for one of my managers and I appreciate the honest feedback and suggestion which I will look into. Best wishes to you Kind regards Liz

Another brilliant stay at the Sheraton, have to say it just gets better.
We are a family of 5, 3 of us had the lovely Club Executive Suite and my daughter and son in law had the Queen Suite as an extra honeymoon treat.
Absolutely beautiful.
The dining room has had a makeover since we were last here, lovely.
My husband and son in law both needing a Gluten Free diet have always been well catered for, this time I also needed a special diet having an onion tolerance. Nothing was too much trouble, the chefs discussing my food every day and making me special things. I cannot thank them enough.
The staff are all lovely and so friendly can highly recommend and we will be back.

Myself, mum and my little boy stayed at the hotel Sheraton for 5 nights and would highly recommend it. We stayed in the club executive room. The room was very large with a double bed, 2x single and a double sofa bed. The bathroom had a walk in shower and a bath with a tv. The room was spotless and was cleaned on a daily basis and topped up with hot chocolate, tea, coffee and biscuits and clean towels. This room also had a sea view. The swimming pool, jacuzzi and showers were spotless and cleaned throughout the day. Each night the hotel had children entertainment, bingo and a cabaret. On the weds 31st the hotel put on an Halloween party which was very well organised and great fun for adults and the kids, followed by a fancy dress parade where they choose 3 winners from children and 3 from adults. All the staff in the hotel was very helpful, they couldn’t have done enough for you. We had an afternoon tea on the Wednesday which was very well organised and beautifully set up, a lot he food:cakes was very fresh and tasted lovely. Already booked for next year. Thank you hotel Sheraton

This was also a Turkey and tinsel break.
Which was very well organised and getting a visit from Santa just made it that extra but special for the children.

Dear Rachelle Thank you for your five star review and your holiday at the Sheraton seemed to be the perfect combination of Halloween and Christmas all in one. We did wonder in advance if it was going to work, but all the guests seem to get into the spirit of both festivities. Thank you for sparing the time to write the review and joining in on all the fun. We would love to see you again soon. Kind regards and best wishes, Liz

Had a brilliant second stay here, love this hotel.
The staff are excellent, all of them throughout the hotel, so very helpful and friendly, cannot do enough for their guests, a credit to The Sheraton.
The food at breakfast, and in the evening very nice indeed, and varied choices, no complaints at all. You can also buy bar snacks during the day in the lounge if you are hungry.
The rooms are lovely, we've stayed in two different rooms, very clean and comfortable indeed. The public areas of two comfortable lounges, and the function room are also spotlessly clean, nice areas to sit listening to the nightly entertainment.
Will we be back again, most definitely!!

Just come back from a very nice mid week stay at the Sheraton with my Dad. Check in very efficient even though we arrived with a coach party. Both had double rooms for sole occupancy with my Dad having a room with a walk in shower as requested. His room was great on the 1st floor by the lift and was very comfortable. Mine was on 3rd floor as far away from the lift as you could get and although spotlessly clean it is need of a refurb which is the only reason for 4 star review and not 5. The mattress has definitely seen better days and the grab rail in the bathroom was corroded underneath and also needs replacing

Restaurant was lovely and we had the lovely Astrid taking care of us for most of our stay. The meals were very good quality with a good choice of food for each course and Astrid was very efficient and nothing too much trouble

Bar was also well stocked and reasonable although I don't understand why you can't have draft lemonade with a gin and had to purchase a bottle which wasn't enough for me so ended up buying a gin plus 2 bottles of lemonade each time. Entertainment was excellent and I like how the tables are laid out as it makes it sociable if you are on your own

The 2 included excursions also made the holiday as it broke the week up and our coach driver Richard was very entertaining. I enjoyed both going through the illuminations and also the trip to the Lake District

I would definitely return but would make sure I asked for a premium room for sole occupancy as it would be worth paying the extra

Approximately 20% of our rooms are still awaiting refurbishment, but I would be interested to know which room you stayed in so we can address some of the issues you found. Would it be possible to email the hotel for my attention and I can contact you privately. Many thanks again Liz Brown

I booked to return to the Sheraton hotel in Blackpool for the Christmas party night big mistake we certainly won’t make that mistake again
I had organised for a party of 13 ladies to attend the Christmas party night as we went last year food was outstanding and it was a great success HOWEVER this year didn’t bode as well we arrived to find we had been seated at the back of the room directly under the air conditioning within 10 mins we were asking for the unit to be turned off as it was blowing out cold air it was so cold I wore a jacket all night after about an hour a lady who I presumed was management appeared so I politely asked her if it could be turned off she duly attended to that and we were very grateful as most of us had evening wear on luckily I took a cardigan/jacket we were served the meal starters were nice turkey dinner wasn’t so nice the presentation was awful 1 roast potato 3 new potatoes sprouts carrots stuffing but no care had been taken on the presentation 2 thin slices of turkey were plopped on top of the veg and only just warm with being at the back we were served last so presume it was sat under the air on maybe dessert was lovely
We were all shocker when the exact same Cabernet singer walked in sang for about an hour then after that there was a lady on a laptop selecting tunes to play all very cheap I’d say but at £26.95 a head we expected better then to our shock the freezing cold air on came on again so we shivered again we did ask for it to be turned off but that didn’t happen
Needless to say we won’t be booking for next year
If you have booked to any of the upcoming dates take a jacket or thick cardigan in case you get sat at the back like we did

Dear Kath and friends I was obviously disappointed to read your review and I do remember meeting you to discuss the air conditioning units. I have to be honest that the four air-conditioning units are positioned in each corner of the room and can only be operated by one switch, they are either all on or all off. As you can imagine when other areas of the room become warm, the air-conditioning units automatically switch on. We have done everything we can to create a superb environment for the Christmas parties with home cook food and wonderful service and a winter wonderland decor but the consistency of the room temperature has been something that we have struggled with. I am sorry that you will not be returning as you could always request a table away from the air-conditioning units. We have had fantastic feedback and I’m sure you would enjoy it again. Thank you for raising your concern and I will certainly address the issues we have Many thanks Liz Brown

Too many things wrong to give it a good review.

The bed room was small and cramped, this was supposed to be a premium room, definitely not this, not central heating just a small heater that was inadequate. Not hot water unless you ran this continuously for over 10 minutes. The swimming was nice and it’s been done to a high standard. The design of some the hotel is very nice and the chairs, the staff are also very nice, it’s just let down buy numerous things The jacuzzi wouldn’t work, we spoke to reception who sent someone down to fix this, but it only lasted one cycle, so this was extremely disappointing. No soap in the showers in the changing rooms. The evening meal good and we enjoyed this. Breakfast was extremely poor and very disappointing one slice of bacon one sausage one tomato and some beans. Would we stay here again probably not no. You can’t have so many things wrong and expect you to come back.
Our room was definitely not a premium room, and just a basic one with nothing working a joke to be honest.

Overall a good stay lovely hotel nice swimming pool and communal areas. Lovely lady on the reception that checked us in explained everything to us when we arrived.

Felt a little let down by the room even thought we paid a little more for a premium double room 308, still felt very small and was a noisy room as right above the entertainment room also very hot had to have the fan on all night , walls very thin can hear everything! Can hear what other guests are doing also a very strange noise coming from outside in the middle of the night that woke me up resulting in having to shut the window.
Evening meal very nice felt uncomfortable with our seating arrangements as felt like we were just plonked in the middle of the room on the dance floor with all the waiters and guests walking around us while we were eating. Took a while for someone to take our order they eventually did when prompted by the front of house lady we asked for some drinks and was told it was another waiter that did this which was another wait . We ordered dessert one came out wrong and we didn’t have dessert spoons which resulted in another wait.
Breakfast was nice overall good but again table not set properly so had to ask for tea spoons.
Bingo fun in the evening.

Just returned home from a weekend stay at the Sheraton Hotel. Overall, the hotel is of a very good standard. I travelled as a carer accompanying a young lady with learning disabilities. I had booked directly with the Hotel and requested a standard twin room that had been renovated. The room itself was very clean and nicely decorated but the bathroom was a bit tired and dated. The room was also stifling hot for some reason even though the windows were wide open. Thank god there was a fan available in the room.

The hotel was absolutely packed and seemed at full capacity. We were definitely outnumbered by the blue rinse brigade and you can tell the hotel definitely caters for OAPs. Food was extremely good, but again catering for older clientele in menu and portions.

Check in and check out was chaotic due to the small size of the foyer and number of people and fighting to get in and out of the lift with luggage with mobility equipment/guide dogs etc.

We enjoyed use of the pool and jacuzzi which was sensibly managed by a booking system. Very clean and newly renovated pool and changing areas.

Overall, an enjoyable stay.

Hi Thank you for your review and I hope you and your friend were looked after well, despite the fact that most of the guests were older than you. We are proud to cater for guests of all ages and during the midweeks most of the guests have become regulars visiting on average four times a year. During weekends and school holidays we cater more for families so our product suits all generations. I do hope you return to the hotel in the future. Best wishes to you Liz
