Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Just returned home from a fab stay in blackpool.after reading all the reviews on this place we felt a bit worried on what we would expect.we were greeted by a very friendly guy Martin and checked in.he showed us around the hotel before showing us to the room.the kids loved playing pool and darts and Martin even joined in!.the room itself was great, needed a little freshen up but for four if us it was fine.warm comfy beds and a great shower.we would recommend staying here as couldn't fault it.thanks for a great stay.

What a horrible place… rooms are very small, double bed was tiny.. not to mention I checked in, had the tour of the bar, pool then to my room to use the bathroom as non in communal areas. To find a pair of boxers in my bathroom. If that doesn’t tell you about the level of cleanliness I don’t know what does. When my boyfriend when and asked them about it they came with a bin bag to remove them… no cleaning products nothing. I wouldn’t stay there again! It was almost Asif we was an inconvenience to the person running it.

Beds were covered in bed bugs. Me and my children were bitten to death. We were refunded for our stay which still doesn't make up for it in my opinion. I should have believed previous reviews that mentioned bed bugs! There were no mattress protectors on the beds and in one of our rooms, the bedding didn't even look like it had been changed as it had stains and hairs on it! The carpets were filthy and the whole place smelt terrible. Absolutely disgusting. Do not stay here! I hardly bother writing reviews but feel people need to be warned about this place!

The hotel is the worst in Blackpool don't stay here. Manager very rude and charges you £15 to get in hotel if you come back after 10.30pm He also charges you extra for bed linen. The hotel is very dirty and the bed looked like someone had slept in previously and it hadn't been cleaned Manager also very rude

booked for 1 night through booking.com price I booked at was £35 when I checked in I was told it was £38 . also I wasn't informed until the morning of my stay by email that you have to be in by 1 am . if you want to stay out past this you have to pay a further £15 for a late key.. this is not a deposit but a payment you don't get back. what is that all about. no tea or coffee facilities in the room ut told a vending machine downstairs for hot drinks but this was turned off at night so couldn't have a hot drink when we got back. very disappointed by all of this

We stayed here for 4 nights last week and we had a lovely stay! The staff are very helpful, friendly and hardworking. They make the effort to greet you each time you enter the hotel and come and have a chat with you if you’re sat in the bar. The room was a good size with a smart tv and a speaker and the bathroom was too. The only issue we had was the positioning is the toilet in the bath room, as it was right next to a wall, this was only an issue for us as both me and my partner are over 6 foot. Our room view was the Blackpool tower which was lovely especially at night when it was all lit up. The location is brilliant only a 10 minute walk from the train station and a 5 minute walk from the sea front and all of the attractions. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay here and we would definitely return 😊

This is without doubt the worse hotel I have ever stayed in! The room was tiny, bathroom was dirty, sheets were stained, paid for late check out but was woken up at 9:30am to move my car which I had paid parking for, parking itself is unsuitable but the guy happily took the payment knowing that I’d paid late check out, I sat in my car 30 mins waiting for someone to move their car, we were also told that the car needing to be moved anyway for other guests and again we paid late check out! Paid 60 for room, 15 for late check out and £15 for a late key, if you get in after 1am which was only brought to my attention when cancellation was not an option, I could have paid £90 and got a premier in for that price! I’d never visit this hotel again and it’s been the worse experience I’ve had in a hotel in my life! RIP OFF AND NOT WORTH £30 a night! They have a 24hr car park really locally, the guy who checked us in could have Made us aware of this when booking late check out! From now on where ever I stay it will be like paradise because the King’s Cross hotel is my low barr
