Warm, very friendly hotel. Kay and John are the best hosts. A great bar area - extremely fun to spend time with whilst enjoying a number of drinks with friends and family. Cracking size room we had this year also. Smashing area for sitting outside - a sun trap if the weathers Good. Clean aswell

We're just on our way home from Blackpool. Had a lovely 3 night stay at the Mornington Hotel. Spotlessly clean In every area. Kay and John are the loveliest people,so friendly to everyone. The breakfast was cooked to perfection every morning. We were in room 6 which had enough space for all our belongings for 3 days. There's a kettle, tea and coffee in the room which is a necessity for my early morning cuppa before breakfast 😊. Had a few drinks in the bar each night, which is very well stocked. There's a pool table aswell. All social distancing measures were in place. It's in a perfect location, opposite South pier, just around the corner from the Velvet Coaster. Kay and John met us for a few drinks in there on Monday night and we had a lovely wee catch up. We had a walk on every pier, had drinks in Bloom which is a gorgeous new gin and prosecco bar at the end of North pier. Went to the queens and kings show on North pier and it was excellent. Elvis,Freddie Mercury,Abba were really really good but our favourite was Prince. He was outstanding. Enjoyed our few days away. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of going to Blackpool. Missing it already!!

The hotel is very clean and has a lovely bar downstairs, we felt very relaxed and welcomed! Visited here at the weekend with my family and honestly I have never felt so at home and comfortable at any where I have stayed before.. Kay and John are literally salt of the earth, I was nervous about staying somewhere else for the first time since lock down but honestly staying here you have nothing to worry about there is hand sanitizer every where you look the hotel and rooms are immaculate you can smell how clean it is just by walking through the door, and social distancing is in place everywhere you go, My little boy teddy adored them and we are already booking up to visits again in a few weeks for he’s birthday I was also worried about staying right next the the pier for the noise with my son only being little but you can’t hear a thing we all slept like babies every night, so comfortable... We really can’t wait to be back in the next few weeks 😘
