Lovely views of the sunset, the illumination lights and all of the passing action! We spent many hours out on the balcony - if you’re a people watcher, this deck with a bottle is paradise (esp on footy match days!) Decent shower, comfy bed, clean bedding and a really yummy breakfast! Raouf was a great attentive host - lots of laughs had too. I think most of the negative reviews I read before staying have very little experience of visiting a B&b in Blackpool - I’ve been coming for years and I was pleasantly pleased and we’ll be definitely returning to this one!

I really don't know where to start, damp, smells of urine, very dated, holes in doors covered with pictures. Unlevel floors to the point where we had to sleep with our pillows at the bottom of the bed to avoid sleeping down hill.

Where do I even start with this dross! The hotel is absolutely lifting! Awful appearance from the outset, one thing I can’t fault is the sea view location, apart from that i am struggling to come up with anything else good or positive about the place. Let’s get started with the hotels decor and appearance is scruffy, carpets throughout are minging! Paint peeling off the walls, we stayed in Room 21 and it was awful. The room absolutely stunk of urine! The cleanliness was terrible! I have photos to show! The constant stains throughout the hotel on the walls and floors etc is to put it politely an eye saw! But this carried on into the room! The cealing was black with damp! The plaster was pealing. The bathroom/shower was the most disgusting thing I had ever seen. I’m not exaggerating it stunk the blue, floor mat was hideous, the shower was a no go. The water pressure was none existing so it was a total waste of time to even attempt a shower. There was no inbetween with water it was either freezing cold or scalding hot but that would only last a max of 2 seconds! I complained about the smell in my room to the owner, I must admit he was very friendly but was no help, he came up the room, tried to play us as fools and says he couldn’t smell urine, massive lie!! When we left the room to go for food, ( outside the hotel) we returned an air freshener was placed in the room, made no difference. The noise from outside is a joke it wouldn’t be as bad if the window closed correctly, or if the room was a nice relaxing place, but it’s more of a jail cell, a kettle was on offer for use but the amount of dust which had settled on it I was never going to use it! I have stayed in some lower budget hotels in my time going on football away trips, drinking weekends etc and most are fine but this is just another level of awful, Do not stay in this hotel, it should be closed down and never opened again!

Owner and staff friendly and helpfull, breakfast was cooked to perfection. All worked very hard to ensure your stay was the best it could be. Enjoyed the company with drinks in the evening. Look forward to a return visit over the coming years. A great location and love the character of a traditional Blackpool hotel run by a very hard working team.

We checked into the hotel on the 15th of April 2023. This place needs some serious TLC. Myself and 2 best friends checked in for one night as we were meeting up with friends whom I’d met in Spain. The place is a death trap waiting to happen. The gentleman on reception was pleasant and I think he was the only staff member in the whole place. He was on reception and the next morning saw him in a chef uniform. The place is dated , and in desperate needs of repair. We checked into 2 rooms costing around £52 each. If we didn’t laugh I guarantee we would have cried. My friends room had a hole in the bathroom ceiling just above the light fixture. Mine & my other friends room was dated , and had a smell of damp throughout. The bed had some stains on which I dread to think what they were. If you want a comfortable night sleep don’t stay here. A lady was screaming at the top of her lungs around 2am outside the room also. I personally decided not to stay here that night & returned around 7:30am the next day. Parking is incredibly limited also so make other parking arrangements so you aren’t disappointed. A lot of love needs to be put back into the place & it could be a lovely hotel if work was put into it however it’s a death trap waiting to happen. The roof was covered in mould , dodgy holes in the ceiling , no Heating and a floor which felt like it could have caved in any minute. I don’t recommend this hotel at all , save your money

Do your self a favour, DO NOT stay at this place. They’re not worth what they charge. The place is smelly (like a sewage smell) Toilet paper in corridors and stairs! Bits of kebab on the stairs. Hearing not working. This place is VERY tired, old and weary. Bedding is old, carpets are torn, the stairs are actually wonky (seriously they’re at an angle - go figure)! Doors are only just hanging on their hinges, light bulbs not working, light shades smashed, Found hairs on sinks etc when checking in, paint work very shoddy. I feel really bad for even being here.I CANT WAIT FOR THE MORNING SO I CAN CHEXK OUT. SO DEPRESSING. OMG. SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE

PLEASE DO NOT BOOK OR STAY HERE!!! Absolute disgrace and should not be open. I don’t even know where to start…..you only need to look at the pictures! On arrival waited 30 minutes for someone to check us in & weren’t even told where to go! Smashed doors & windows. Cigarettes ends all over carpets along with rubbish. Carpet was soaking wet as you walked along the water was squishing over trainers. Room next to ours the ceiling had collapsed with water pouring out. The smell of weed, damp and god knows what was disgusting. Nails and rubbish under beds. I fell down 3 steps due to the carpet not being attached to floor. 11 of us left straight away and luckily found another hotel to accommodate us (unfortunately cost us a lot more due to short notice) THIS HOTEL IS NOT SAFE AND IVE REPORTED TO ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH.

Blackpool review HOTEL NAME CHANGE - Blackpool Promenade Hotel (clearly don’t want people to see these hundreds of poor reviews) I wouldn’t even know where to begin, I’ve just spent the last 3 hours reading through previous reviews and can see these problems have existed for as far back as 2019!! I came to visit with 4 members of my family split between 3 rooms for a 3 NIGHT weekend from Portsmouth (6.5 hours away!!) and was really looking forward to it only to be disappointed to have my weekend ruined upon arrival at this absolute disgrace of accommodation (which I refuse to call a hotel). Firstly we received a phone call mid afternoon to ask for our ETA as they’re no staff present to check us in after 7pm (bare in mind check in didn’t start until 3pm) but we explained to them that due to the long long drive we won’t be arriving until about 8pm, someone waited for our arrival to check us in which we thought started off the trip well but boy was I wrong. After being given a handful of keys per room (no idea what they were all for) we went to check in to what I can only describe as something from a horror movie (with the smell of death) through the entire corridors and rooms that were extremely thin and extremely outdated but that was the least of our worries, the lift didn’t work so we had to do a couple of trips to the car (that we had to pay £15 a day to park) up to the very top floor, when arriving to the top floor (floor D) we was practically walking in puddles (on carpet) through the corridors, we then found one of the rooms open to which I found a leaking ceiling with no bucket or anything collecting the water underneath which was clearly the cause of the slushy carpets and green furry mould all over the carpets and bed with the bedding everywhere which tells me it’s been like that for a long time and the smell of damp throughout the building was disgusting let alone an extreme health hazard being an asthmatic! Now to the bedrooms, now in mine it was the most bearable but still vile, the next twin had a view of the roof and a corpse of a bird of some sort followed by bird poo and lots of pigeons, the bathroom light didn’t work and they provided very minimal toilet paper, the third and final room was a double with a half window view of the back road which I’m certain I witnessed a handful of drug deals happen, no tv controller, television didn’t work, kettle plugged in below the tv which is clearly a fire hazard too to which I very much doubt they have an electrical certificate or liability insurance nor was there any PAT stickers on any electrical equipment, all rooms provided us with 1 cup & saucer (for 2 people) with no spoon, the cups were dirty, only 1 of the several plug sockets worked in any of the rooms, there was several holes in the walls in the bathroom in particular that instead of being repaired were instead stuffed with tissue, couldn’t full open the bathroom door in the double room as it was blocked by the bed and couldn’t close it if you was sat on the toilet in the twin room as you would be blocking it, the stairs throughout the building were extremely uneven and felt like the building was collapsing in on itself, it states on the booking that it comes with “free breakfast” which I’m grateful was not true as I wouldn’t dare eat from here, as well as more information stated on trip advisor that isn’t true like that there is entertainment and the bar area is open until 11pm but wasn’t open at all the entirety of our stay not to mention they state free wifi yet when you try and connect the apparent wifi doesn’t exist therefore you cannot connect. I’ll also add that throughout the time here there was no staff present in the building and the front door was unlocked the whole time meaning anyone could come in at any time. Due to the extent of the state of the “hotel” we had no choice but to book elsewhere which cost us a lot more money and due to it being last minute meant I had to stay in 2 more separate hotels due to no availability, this trip that should’ve been cheap and cheerful ended up becoming an expensive headache, I’m not one for leaving reviews but I really want to stop anyone else from coming here especially if you have kids!! Also if you get the chance go and have a look at reviews from 2019-2020 and see the replies that the hotel haven’t responded with, just rude and have zero care in the world!! I would usually say “does somebody need to be killed for something to be done” but by further review of the reviews it appears someone actually did sadly take their own life in the premises a couple of years ago!! Absolute disgrace!! STAY AWAY
