Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Just went for an overnight stay with family, it was very reasonably priced, and the service was very friendly. :) Not too far from the city centre or the station (just over 5m from Blackpool North), too.

My son and I stayed at the Dragonfly. It was an absolute pleasure staying here. The owners Paul and Adam were great, nothing is to much bother. The breakfast was very nice. The rooms are majoritly ensuite, comfy beds tea and coffee selection very good, biscuits also in the room and a chocolate on the bed on arrival.

Have booked a stay here for next week and used a gift voucher plus payrd a supplement. No response when calling and left a few messages, Google says "permanently closed" so now concerned our stay isn't going ahead? It would have been good to be informed as going to Blackpool with other family members and they are all booked elsewhere.

Just got back last night after a lovely 2 night's stay here, me and my mum had seperate rooms, my room was very nice, very comfy bed, great powerful shower, nice peacock wallpaper, the breakfast was fantastic, just £6 and you get loads!! Inc juice, coffee, yogurts, cereal, full English breakfast or you can have egg on toast for example. The man running it was very friendly, he was name Paul, and very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

A great place to stay with an extremely comfortable bed and located walking distance from pretty much everything I needed. The owners are lovely and the vegetarian breakfast is amazing. It's not a big room but it was perfect for my needs.

I chose the Dragonfly for a stay during the Lytham Festival, as it's near the station and offered keen prices. On arrival, the tidy frontage stands out and I immediately felt comfortable by owners Paul and Scarlet. As I'd extended my stay and made separate bookings I experienced two rooms. It's fair to say both were compact especially room 9, but the basics are all there, clean working and comfortable. Room 4 had a little more space and the bonus of a smart TV! Breakfast is served from 8.30 and portions are ample. Altogether a decent good value place to stay.

Stayed at The Dragonfly for a couple of nights with a friend. We were both pleasantly surprised with our respective rooms, they were clean and with tea/coffee and biscuits, very welcoming. The breakfast was excellent and really set us up for the day. We will definitely be returning.
