We stayed at the Blenheim Mount hotel in August 2024 for a family wedding up in Blackpool. When I was searching, reviews were very important because I know what some places are like in Blackpool. This hotel was great and the free parking was a bonus - although be prepared to fit your car into a tight space for the duration of your stay! We were a family of 6 (in 2 rooms) My room included 2 older teenagers and the 4 person room was adequate for our needs, the seaview in room 20 was an amazing panaramic view, from the central pier right up to the pleasure beach with a tram stop just outside. Breakfast was a very well, structured set up you could tell they had been doing it for years. Once we sat at our allocated table for the room, we were served toast and could help ourselves to drinks from the station. They happily brought me out gluten free toast which was a real bonus because normally hotels prefer to serve just bread with no cross-contamination issues, it was really nice to actually get toast. Then we could choose a hot breakfast and again, the gluten free option was lovely! The staff we met were all really friendly and helpful and I would not hesitate to stay here again if I am ever in Blackpool!

The Blenheim Mount Hotel is right on the Blackpool Promenade minutes away from Blackpool's Central Pier. Car parking if the hotel's car park is full is rarely a problem as there's lots of free car parking in the roads behind the hotel. Out room was bright, light and airy and the bathroom and toilet was sparking clean. We found all the staff to be friendly and welcoming and the breakfasts were piping hot and tasty and you could just help yourself to the continental breakfast if you wanted to. There is a tram stop just outside the hotel so it's easy to get around in Blackpool. The bar prices are reasonable and it was very pleasant to sit outside on the veranda and watch the world go by as well as the sunsets in the evenings. Great hotel and good value!

The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The beds were comfy and the room was a high standard for the price. We got upgraded to a larger room because it was quiet which honestly made our trip so much better as we had a lovely bay window overlooking the sea rather than just a standard window. The breakfast provided had a good selection of cereals and the hot food was tasty and served very quickly. The staff were all very friendly and nothing felt like to much trouble for them. The hotel is in an ideal location for the central pier and coral island and there is a tram/bus stop just on upside. I would definitely stop here again and would recommend it. Thank you!

Lovely rooms, towels changed as required. Warm and friendly. Although it says it has lifts to all floors, only a few of the rooms don't require a further few stairs. Breakfast was good, served quickly and alternative juice provided, daughter is allergic to orange juice and apple juice was sourced for her. Great location and next to a tram stop. Help was given in storing a hired wheelchair and getting it in and out of the building. Storage is available for mobility scooters.

The hotel is situated just shy of the central pier. Around 5-10mins walk to the Tower and Coral Island amusements.
Parking is available at the hotel and the street directly behind the hotel has free parking if you arrive early enough.
I visited with my wife and son, and my parents. We had a family room and a standard double.
The rooms were very dated, in line with other reviews, the televisions didn't have remote controls and the shower/bathroom was in particular need of a make-over. However, i won't lower my score due to this as this is what I've come to expect with B&B's in Blackpool.
The standard double room was located directly next to the lounge toilet. This caused a bit of noise annoyance for my parents, but nothing they were grossly unhappy with.
The reception and bar staff were extremely friendly and catered for our needs well.
Service at breakfast was a tad slow and felt rushed, but again, it's a B&B and it was busy. It was acceptable and the food was decent.
Entertainment consisted of a dj playing music and taking song requests from around 7pm. Bingo at 9pm (3 games, £1 entry) and then Karaoke. This kept my son entertained and was nice to mingle with other guests. We particularly enjoyed Jayne as a host and she was very friendly and engaging.
Overall, if you are not too stuck up on the accommodation and decor being dated and a bit run down i would recommend this B&B as a place to stay. It's a great base to explore Blackpool, and the staff are friendly. The bar is also very reasonably priced.

Booking this hotel direct was an easy simple process . The hotel is located right on the promenade close to central pier with a tram and bus stop right outside. When checking in there was a slight mix up with rooms which the receptionist sorted quickly. Bedding was clean, tea, coffee makings available, room was checked and cleaned regularly throughout the stay. The breakfast provided in the morning was lovely. A good choice of cereals, fruit, yoghurt, toast and cooked breakfast. The bar area we only walked through in the evenings. Seemed a nice enough atmosphere with entertainment provided. Can't really comment about the staff as apart from checking in I didn't really have many dealings with them. Now for the bad bits and I am afraid there are a few. The rooms are a little tired and dated. The bathroom in particular could do with a little freshen up. The toilet seat was broken and the sealant was all looking a little grubby. The bed was probably the least comfiest I have slept in ever. Very lumpy and could feel and hear every spring and the pillows were very flat. Curtains didn't quite meet as missing a few rings. Also be prepared to pay a £20 returnable deposit for the remote control.I would visit again purely for the breakfast and convenience of the location. It is a perfectly fine base for a holiday as long as you don't expect fancy.

Really enjoyed my stay at this b&b, its perfectly located on the seafront just up from the central pier. There's a seating area out the front which is ideal if you like to watch the world go by, can purchase a drink from the bar to enjoy outside too. The room was a reasonable size and clean, plenty of tea/coffee in the room too, i slept well on both nights. The breakfast is served between 9/9.30 where you sit at the table with your room number on, plenty of choice, cereals, yogurts and a selection of cooked items all of which were perfectly cooked, toast was always available too,hot drinks machine was handy so just help yourself. The young waiter fella was very attentive and friendly. There was a general friendly laid back feel about this accommodation it really makes a difference. Can't comment on entertainment as i was out until late. Id definitely stay here again

We arrived Easter Monday all the staff we’re excellent nothing was too much trouble for them.
The B&B is in a great location for the attractions. The Breakfast served was amazing & even catered for my food intolerances.
The evening entertainment was great as was the Bingo, (though think I might be barred for how many times I won) 😂😂 (Barman Gary - & the kids cocktails he made).
It’s worth a stay here if you want family entertainment & the sea view rooms make it worth the trip, was just what we needed a chilled family break.

We’ve just come back from a four day stay. It was an on speck booking as we thought we’d just chance finding something when we got there. We struck lucky! Parking is an absolute nightmare in Blackpool but they have FREE lock up parking for guests staying a minimum of two nights. The hotel is in a prime position on the front, just down from the Central Pier.. perfect. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. The breakfast 10/10! The room was immaculate which is essential although needed a little TLC, but we know it’s not The Hilton and certainly not their prices. We revisited a lot of memories and in my opinion Blackpool is a lot better now than it was 15 years ago! We will definitely return.

The location is spot on, very close to central pier and there's tram and bus stops right outside. The bar area is very good and well priced. Nice clean room and I thought the shower pressure was good. Breakfast is lovely, several hot drink and cereal choices. I am planning on returning!

Good evening,
We do have a raised patio area that is situated at the front of our property where all guests are able to smoke freely. I hope that this information has been helpful. Many thanks.

Entrance to the car park is via an small access road at the back. Car park is small and cars are packed in tight and cannot be moved during your stay. The is wheelchair access from the car park and a lift (not sure if a mobility scooter would fit through the corridor) the access from the front is about 5 steps and not independently wheelchair accessible.
We only have breakfast (which was very nice) so can't comment on there evening meals.
There are more places to choose from in the Blackpool area.
