We booked the Ashley Victoria due to the location as it was in the middle of where we wanted to be but that was it.
We have stayed in better rooms for less money and i understand that Covid 19 has made changes to the way we now interact but there isn't any reason to rip people off.
I booked 2 nights on Expedia as bed and breakfast with a super king size bed.
We didn't inspect the rooms/bed too much as I didnt want to scare myself but when checking in we were told that the rooms wouldn't be serviced only the bins would be emptied and tea and coffee would be replaced. That would be good if it happened and the bin in the bathroom was still full from the previous occupant....Good sanitisation done then!! At no point did the bins then get emptied nor the drinks replaced so I went and bought extras plus water as it tastes awful from the tap. Breakfast was a bacon, sausage & egg roll and that was it. Cheap ingredients but bacon was cooked just the way I like it. Neither me or my husband eat them and they just stayed in the bin smelling the room of fat.

There wasn't anything else really to comment on as it was just okay but I've paid less to stay in a Premier Inn (with full breakfast). Sorry but we wouldn't stay again but the its unlikely we would ever go back to blackpool.

Stayed here for just one night however had a lovely experience. The room was great, comfy, clean and modern with wonderful friendly hosts ready to help with any problem! This hotel has a perfect location with both sandcastle/amusements and the Blackpool tower within walking distance (along the promenade). I am vegan and after telling them before hand they were very accommodating food wise.

I booked a twin room for one night with my son for a visit to Blackpool Pleasure Beach. We were greeted by a lovely host who told us the hotel car park was full but we could park adjacent in a secure car park with cctv. This was at a charge of five pounds which was great value.
The walk to the Pleasure Beach was apporoximately 10 mins. A great central location for both ends of the Promenade.
Check in after our visit to the Pleasure Beach later by another very friendly host and noticed lots of very happy guests on our way to the room.
The hotel was spotlessly clean. Our room suited our needs perfectly and the hosts couldn't do enough to ensure you were comfortable.
Very comfotable beds and Sky Tv. Tea and coffee facilities in the room as well as extra pillows and an ironing board if needed.
Breakfast was a buffet style. Very well organised and the dining room was immaculate. Very good quality breakfast, traditional cooked along with pastries and cereal. Lovely staff on duty throughout.
Would highly recommend for families. A true 'family run' hotel.

ABSOLUTE DUMP. Pee stained bedding, leaking windows, broken shower, broken lamp, rusty radiator, cigarette and iron burns on carpet, room stank of smoke. It rained when we were there and there are several leaks in the hotel also expect the electricity to trip. This Hotel? certainly is not four star, its a very poor attempt at a basic B&B at best. The sky TV advertised was in fact free view, in our room at least. There's very little staff, never mind uniformed which should be for Four star no restaurant again for four star other than for buffet breakfast and bar is poorly stocked and seldom open. This hotel is not in a holiday area. Expect people hanging around the street corners at night, this used to be a nice street full of hotels and B&B but not now it's full of private lets/bedsits and not very well kept. The owners especially the woman, is very aggressive if you complain. We witnessed this twice during our stay not very professional at all. She wore the same clothes all the time we were there and was in the kitchen helping with food. we decided not to eat there and just ate out. The only good thing about this hotel was check out you just leave your key and the unattended reception.

Arrived for 2 o’clock check in , then told check in would be not before 5 o’clock and more than likely 5:30 hrs . Our planned day was now in disarray, a phone call to let us know the situation earlier would allow a change of direction. The reason for delay was No staff had turned up for work 😳
The trip was with family and because it advertised a bar the evening was to be in the bar with young family . No staff and bar closed at 9:30hrs😬 . The bar was bottles or cans of Guinness, no John smiths etc. Still we went into the pool table room , one cue , no tip on cue , table in need of refurbishment.
So check out next morning and a total of 16 hrs in the hotel for two rooms full price , to be fair lack of staff is unfortunate, but as a customer that is not my concern . Breakfast was fine with plenty of choice

Just overall disgusted with the place, especially the lady running it, who was very aggressive and started raising her voice, knowing it was September weekend and I wouldn’t get in anywhere else with all my family is the only reason I stayed. We arrived with a larger car. and of course didn’t mind paying the extra miney, but she want very helpful and when we couldnt get parked and was asking for her help where to go , she started shouting that I should have read the terms and conditions, I’ve never experienced anyone being so aggressive in such a role in my life. Also I had paid through booking. Com prior to arrival, she was trying to charge me again and kept saying they hadn’t put my payment through, once she realised it was error there was no apology it was very uncomfortable. Also the rooms were stinking a horrible smell as soon as you walk in and the carpets are disgusting. The times they said breakfast would be available, the two mornings they were in organised and were about 10 minutes late opening the door which is quite poor when they’re only serving for an hour. Wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy

We had a Nice welcome, but, in room 2, we informed the TV was not working, was informed someone would fix, this did not happen, nobody visited the room to check which was obvious. could not open the bedroom window as lock broken ( COVID fresh air)Bed sheets was stained, again, attention to detail in the room.
Breakfast, was ok, ( sausages were cheap and tasteless) the Kitchen Porter refreshing the hot plates was just wearing a hoodie and bomber jacket, and joggers, maybe kitchen uniform better/professional looking and Covid safe ie outdoor clothing in a kitchen environment is not ideal anytime, not just Covid.
have to say over priced given the above.
When we left, nobody about, as I would have asked for a reduction in what we paid

We have just left this so called b&b!!! It was nothing like website and hosts were very unhelpful as everything you asked for was not excepted likely. Breakfast was said to be 9-9.30 in your room due to covid which was fine but never arrived till 10.15!! Asked for some milk for tea and got a glare then a very unhappy host arrived with milk
I would NEVER recommend this fawlty towers b&b to any one. I have gave it 1 star purely because we got parking space.

Firstly if you want to go to Blackpool and get a pristine 5 star experience you need to pay 5 star prices. The majority of mid price hotels in Blackpool are a little tired because of how busy they are

If you want a clean room to sleep in with tv and shower and decent parking near to the centre this place ticks the box.

The receiption isn’t was pleasant and helpful
Parking is an extra £5 per day but worth it as finding parking elsewhere is difficult.

Corridor smelt a bit damp so was a bit worried, but when we went in the room we were pleasantly surprised - everything was working and seemed clean, beds and linen were comfy and clean. We had a good nights sleep even with windows open.

Beach is literally at the end of the road (1 min walk)
10-15 min walk to Pleasure Beach
30 min walk to Tower

If you want a central base at a decent price this place does the job.

Sure the place isn’t perfect but not as bad as some of the reviews on here. Like I said before if you want perfection you need to pay more.

Would definitely return for a short break.

Out of all the hotel's iv stayed in, in Blackpool.
This was by far my favourite, the cleanest, the friendliest and they did an amazing breakfasts which was even delivered to my room!

The owners are clearly very experienced and love their job, who really make you feel welcome.

The room was very clean and cosy with a spotless bathroom and complimentary tea and coffee.

Good parking and perfectly located just far enough away from the action so that you can have a good sleep without any noise, but only a 2 min walk from the beach and a 10 min walk to all the activities.

Will definitely be visiting again!
Thank you guys.

The place was clean, not my four stars at all, more a 2-3 by English standards, but staff were helpful. Was quite miffed off that we paid for a full English buffet breakfast to be told on arrival that it was a bacon or sausage bun delivered to your door due to COVID. Don’t bother with breakfast there, walk down the front, turn left and it’s a ten minute walk to Whetherspoons!!
