Geordies in Blackpool

A fantastic hotel in Blackpool, we arrived late on a Friday evening and was greeted by the owner who explained everything and came to the room once we were settled in and asked if everything was okay. Which it was. Next morning at breakfast ( which was delicious) helped me with car parking at a free place. Very friendly and helpful at all times. We will be coming back to this hotel next time we plan a Blackpool w/end.

A Gem.

Just returned Just returned from a 2 night stay at the Newholme Hotel, the location was excellent with it not being to far from the centre and all the attractions, we parked at the Alfred street car park which came to 22 pound for 48 hours, its about a 5 minute walk to the hotel,we were then welcomed by the owner who was very friendly and helpful, the room we had was lovely and comfortable with a nice soft bed for a good night's sleep which we had, everything was spotlessly clean, the breakfast in the morning was a Gutbuster cooked perfectly, we will certainly return in the future,

Great hotel

We just had a great stay here,could some of the hotel need some TLC, yes it could,but overall a great hotel with brilliant owners.Our bed was really comfortable,crisp white blankets and pillows,constant hot water,really powerful shower,lovely towels,and plenty of drawers.We had continental breakfast plenty of choice and fresh,the full English looked great with plenty on the plate on the table next to us.But the best thing about this place is the owner he drove us to our show cause we couldn't get a taxi,and when we got back he sat chatting in one of the best stocked bars I've ever seen in a hotel.Thanks for a great couple of days

Keep the faith

We stayed in room 5 the room was very clean along with the bathroom.Our bed was very comfortable as were the pillows,as a person who doesn't sleep very well I was very pleased with how much unbroken sleep I got.The owners were very friendly and welcoming.We paid the extra charge for the full English breakfast which was one of the best we have ever had,there was also the option of a very well stocked continental breakfast.We stated three nights and having control of the heating in our room was a nice touch,once the room was warm having the option to turn it down was like home from home.We have already booked to return for spring break,All in all we had a lovely homely stay with very friendly hosts see you soon Deborah and David

Afternoon tea experience

We went for an afternoon tea experience. Wow everything was amazing. Damien was very friendly and helpful. The food was presented very well on a miniature picnic table fantastic idea. The food was incredible and attention to detail was exceptional . Very impressed. Well done. Keep up the amazing work.

Mid week break

Thank you for a lovely mid week break hotel spot on rooms clean bed's very comfortable breakfast and evening meals excellent and two of the nicest host's you could meet thank you we will be back next year

The newholme

The hostes was were brilliant. The breakfast was nice. The rooms were cleaning. We would recommend to my friends and family. The hostes were welcome. The evening meal was very nice see you next week x

Lovely time!

First off the building is old, it’s quaint and cozy. But it’s been done up and refurbished, especially in the rooms. Comfy clean beds, in room facilities, en suite which had all required items and enough space. I was never up early enough for breakfasts, but my mother said they were good, and had a nice little selection. We asked for an extra blanket, new towels and help to find things to do, the owners were happy to help. Looking things up and explaining where to go etc. It’s a perfect place for a bnb vibe, 5 minutes away from the sea and main attractions. It has it all really. Would very much recommend

Perfect stay

Great little find and amazing deal. Perfect location 5 min walk to seafront. Room was clean with en suite. Had everything you need including kettle(tray with biscuits etc, hairdryer and iron ( on request) . Fresh white linen and VERY comfortable mattress, both slept really well) . Continental breakfast was included ( added bonus as we never realised this until Damien ( one of the hosts) told us when we arrived. Great breakfast with everything you could need and Damien on hand if you needed anything else!! Had dinner one night and cooked breakfast last day…Both were excellently and we would highly recommend trying the food!! Damien and Nigel make a great team and we felt very welcome. Will def go back when we return to Blackpool!!!

The Newholme Hotel

We enjoyed our stay in room 5 the bed was so comfy, but needs a safety matt in the shower as shower floor is very slippery when wet but overall thx for a great welcome by nigel & damian will see you next year
