Firstly It was not a choice to book this accommodation but I was let down by Booking.com and had no other choice. Leicester was full due to it being Graduation week and Booking.com cancelled our accommodation as we sat outside the venue.
Back to the Comfort Hotel- trade description being informed!!!!!.
Leaking toilet. Broken bed. No facilities. Bloody awful venue. Dirty and of a very poor standard. I cried. Positive was that despite how dreadful this place was the staff member was polite, helpful to our needs and tried to assist.
I am also asking booking.com to remove from listing

The word "comfort" made me a little suspicious. When I arrived, I was given keys to a room that wasn't cleaned from the previous night's stay. They quickly sorted me out a new room. The shower dribbled and had no hot water. There was no mirror in the bathroom. At least the bed was somewhat comfortable so it wasn't all doom and gloom. Looked out the back window in the morning and it looked a bit grim. Booked for a business trip, although next time I'll probably max out the budget rather than try to save money. Don't know where they got those other two stars from, it was barely a one-star. £40 a night is a little steep given what is offered here.

Had an awful stay here last month booked last minute after a long drive all we wanted was a good nights rest.
The room we thought was mediocre but would do, it could of been cleaner and things were broken. All night there was banging and crashing of doors didnt see any other guests only who we guessed were staff. Around midnight the fire alarms went off and proceeded to go off another three times with no warning or assistance or explanation from staff. I rang reception only to be rudely told someone is smoking there isnt anything they can do about it! All I wanted to know was that we were safe and did we need to evacuate or not! In the morning upon getting up early to get out of there I saw a Bed Bug on my sheets! That was the final straw we packed up and went to reception to complain and get our money back. The man on the desk was clearly used to these complaints as he said I dont want to argue with you, as for the bed bugs i showed him the photo i took of it and he said 'oh are you in room ...' so clearly they know they have bed bugs in particular rooms yet put people in there anyway, we were not in that room and he sounded surprised they were in that room but if they are in one bed they will be in them all! Upon reading other reviews after our visit they have a history of bed bugs from september and obviously havent sorted the issue!

Me and my friends stayed here on the 11th of March 2017, I was really impressed with the hotel, which is now under new management. All of the staff were really pleasant and friendly and made us feel welcome! Our room was immaculate, we had the family room.
Will deffo stay here again and I would recommend it.

Booked for one night for Nationale Space Centre visit. What we saw in that hotel has terrified us!!! Nice welcome but nothing more! Checked in late afternoon but after the visit in our room we've decided to book somewhere else or drive home at night. Filthy starecase; punche holes on room doors, terrible smell and all dusty. Our room was even worse!! Rubish, smashed phone, bedsheet and dirty towel on the roof of the buliding below our room window (which was our view!!). Everything!Absolutely everything was dirty!! Also stains of POO on the wall, just above the pillow !! I took pictures of it all and showed them to receptionist which offered us another room but after what we saw I could not stay there with my 6year old son which has allergies. Also explained that to receptionist and asked for refund but been told that the manager is not on site so I can leave my details and they will call me back. NEVER DID!Please avoid this place!! I dont understand how is this place still opened!?

Was booked in here for 1 night on business. Had driven 350 miles so was looking forward to a nice bath or shower. Was appalled with what I was greeted with in this room. I’ve posted my own pics...but take a look at the management pics- the hotel bears no resemblance to these.
Walls paper thin, so noise comes from all sides. Really got no sleep and needed to be fresh for the next day.
No breakfast facilities and no remote for the tv.
I really can’t believe a hotel like this is allowed to exist in the UK in the 21st century. Truly dreadful.

I needed somewhere quickly for two nights in Leicester.

This seemed to be adequate so I booked in, was just as the previous reviews have said: shabby but acceptable. The room needed a good deep clean, there were odd stains on the paintwork and the strange wet room/lavatory was intriguing. Fortunately I had some sandals with me so didn't suffer from wet feet when using the toilet!

I have had much better for the money and would not from choice return.

This hotel is very basic so if you're looking for something on a budget, this is the place for you. The staff were lovely and very accommodating but the single room was really shabby. The radiator and cold sink tap didn't work. I was given a fan heater to warm the room but it was very noisy. It was also a bit smelly - it was clear that someone had been smoking in it. Also I couldn't get a very good wifi signal but it could've been because I was on the top floor. I've given it an 'average' score as I can hardly complain for £35 a night.

Booked to stay here as friends were getting married nearby and the price was cheap with free parking. Those were the only good things. When we checked in the receptionist sent us up to a room on the 3rd floor- we got there to find it was still being cleaned. Had to trek all the way back down to reception (with our bags which no one helped with - and there is no lift) to be sent back to a room on 2nd floor.

Room was tiny and grubby. NO MIRROR ANYWHERE in room or bathroom- pretty annoying when you're trying to get ready for a wedding. I had to go and do my makeup in the car. Walls paper thin- could hear the teenagers in the room next door chatting about their exploits last night...

Bed small and hard. The only good thing was that although the shower pressure was terrible it was at least hot so we could shower early and get out the next morning. Very glad it was a 1 night stay, we would have gone elsewhere if staying in Leicester another night!
