Stayed for two nights and although they are no parking problems, you get the impression that Travelodge in Markfield is waiting for something to happen again. Although we were told there had been a makeover You do get 30 minutes free wifi but nowadays this should be Free wifi at all times. Also our toilet did not flush and we...

It's a travelodge. Bed not as good as a premier inn. TV not as big as a premier inn. Shower controls confusing and not marked. But the place is clean and functional for a stop off. Had a room at the back which was very quiet. Good. Staff very friendly.

Hotel located on the services but a great location for us as we were travelling on the next morning. Staff very friendly and helpful, check in was quick. Rooms were clean and tidy. Lots of car parking. Plenty of baskets in reception for more tea/coffee. Good value for a overnight stay.

I stopped here on my way up to Nottingham. My sat nav took me to a nearby road, so I called the hotel and the night attendant helped direct me to the correct location. I arrived at about 2 30 am and was greeted by the same friendly night attendant. The service was good. This hotel is basic, but does...

When we booked this hotel we weren't sure what condition it would be in as it was on the services, but decided that as we only needed some where to sleep as we were visiting family it would do. We were pleasantly surprised at the standard of the room,it was refurbished abou two years ago and was still quite fresh. The...

Pros: Staff are friendly. Really close to the M1. Rooms were nice and clean. Plenty of parking. Cons: The dilapidated remains of what used to be services still remain as an unsightly stain between the hotel and a BP service station. Not very inviting for families.

This is a very comfortable, refurbished hotel and very quiet even though it's just off the main road. There;s no restaurant but you can buy breakfast packs, and takeaways in Coalville will deliver to the hotel.. There is a fuel station next door and access to the M1 only metres away. An excellent bus service into Leicester or Coalville and...
