Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Absolutely lovely Travelodge. Incredibly clean and spacious room, with lots of light. Comfortable bed as usual and easy to find and get to. Lovely, attentive staff. Michelle and Ludmilla checked me in, they were absolutely brilliant. It was a nice warm welcome to Leicester!

Great service from Michelle, Mia & Ludimillar! It was a lovely greeting and they helped me with everything I needed. In general the hotel is tired, needs a revamp and updating (no plug sockets next to the beds, etc), but you get what you pay for!

Excellent location with nearby parking that was reasonably priced. Breakfast staff were very friendly and attentive. Louise in particular was very patient with us and happy to help with each inquiry we came up with. A great number of places to visit within easy walking distance.

Had a lovely stay. Convenient location. Mia and Michelle were super helpful on check in, also gave great parking tips & some useful advice about the city. Also gave me extra milk for my tea and a hair dryer! I would definitely stay again thanks to these 2 gems!! They are a credit to the Travel lodge brand.

The saying you get what you pay for does apply here. We paid £40 a night and it was adequate. Yes the walls are thin and the whole place needs a make over, there is a strange smell on the first floor corridor. Luckily the window opened in our room, the bathroom and bed linen were clean. Receptionist polite. Location is perfect. Don't expect 4 stars and you'll be fine. Noise was expected.

I stayed here for one night. Check in was easy as I had great service from Michelle & Karishma. The room was clean and tidy with towels provided. It had plenty of space. There is a small amount of noise from people walking down the corridor but it's not too bad.

Checked in by the lovely Karishma (sorry if I spelt your name wrong). Access to the hotel was pretty easy and straightforward, as well as finding our room. I personally found it to be a bit cold throughout the hotel, and in our room, this was partially alleviated by the heater... however, there is no way to change the temperature as it is controlled by an internal room temperature monitor. The room was lacking in a hair dryer, microwave, or telephone (for room service) as not everyone is able to walk to the front desk. Oh, and the pump for the hair and body wash was broken. The shower was dirty, and there was a spider in the tap. Not much noise, considering we were on the first floor. We were awoken by the cleaners at 7am. This all said we would use travelodge as a budget hotel.
