Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Nothing at all to complain about. The hotel was clean and tidy. Our room was clean and fresh. Sarah who greeted us on arrival was lovely and welcoming. We would highly recommend if visiting this area. Just in the outskirts of the centre so nice and quiet.

Excellent location, ample free parking , very helpful friendly staff , especially Sarah. The pub next door provides good food and decent beer at a fair price. Beds at Travelodge are always comfy and this particular branch is my favourite to date and I have sampled quite a few recently for work. Happy to return again.

Noisy. The finish of the place is lacing. The shower so small i could not bend over. So bad we did not stay the last night. The staff were fantastic, if the hotel had been one tenth as good as the staff, it would have been wonderful

Lovely weekend stay at Hinckley road. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Sarah who seemed genuinely happy to be as helpful as she possibly could, she knew all the local amenities and places to eat etc. Thin walls, but luckily we didn't have especially loud 'neighbours'!

We decided to stay here the night as we were visiting Leicester. We arrived at 2pm and our room was ready, we asked for a top floor room and the very nice lady on reception recommended for a quiet night, to have a room facing the back - which we did. We couldn't hear any noise all night. The room was standard for Travelodge, clean and didn't smell. The only reason for the 3 stars was the room was just too cold. The heater was on full but even in bed, it never seemed to get very warm. There is a tesco almost opposite so I walked over at 7am and got us both fresh pasties and fruit. There is also a fish & chip/indian close by. Overall, we enjoyed our stay for the night.

Could hear every noise from outside, and even the rooms next door could hear the man coughing and speaking. Room stank of smoke, decor every unclean looking. No option to turn off heating. Bed covers stained. Doors banging all night. 2 single beds for 2 adults ? What happened to the king size bed. Worst travel lodge I’ve ever visited. If you value your sanity then don’t stay there !
