We decided to visit Lincoln for our wedding anniversary as its somewhere we both love. We arrived on Friday evening, and were greeted by Donna, (the pub was very busy as it was England/Scotland game) but she personally showed us to our room explained everything and answered any questions for us, she even reserved us a table for later that evening after we'd wondered down the the marina for food. We had a drink in a back room away from the football. Despite the fact that the pubs was busy you really cannot hear it from your room, which was lovely and cosy with a comfy bed, tea and coffee were provided for the morning. I can honestly say we had a great stay and we will definitely be staying again.

We stayed for three nights in a small annexed terrace ground floor room with ensuite next to the pub. The room was basic but comfortable and had all amenities - TV, WiFi, tea and coffee making facilities etc. The pub is in a quiet residential area and only 10 minutes walk from the docklands area of Lincoln. Altho' no breakfast is provided there's a lovely cafe on West Parade called Anna's Place where we ate both mornings. Also does excellent coffee. The staff at The Queen were helpful and welcoming and the beer selection excellent. Would return here.

We stayed for two nights, the room was very comfortable, tea and coffee facilities, towels and shower gel provided and use of hairdryer, straightners as well as iron board and iron, the bathroom was massive, the pub was fantastic a proper local pub, the bar staff were so nice and polite, and the owners very friendly,. A good night sleep no noise from the pub. Parking permit provided and parked right outside. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

We came as two couples and our stay was lovely. I highly recommend. Rooms were clean and lovely. Tea and coffee making facilities. It was like we had a house to ourselves. The pub was nice and drinks were a reasonable price. The beds were comfortable and the room was nice and warm. We got a parking permit from the pub and could park right outside. Would return.

We came on a bit of a nostalgia trip as we drank here as students almost 40 years ago. It hasn’t changed! The bar is spotlessly clean and service was friendly.
We booked a room which was also clean, warm and comfortable. Not great if you’re a light sleeper as there is noise from the beer garden. We also had to access the ‘en-suite’ bathroom from the corridor. Excellent value. It’s just a shame they don’t appear to be doing food at the moment.

This is a pub with only 2 rooms. One en-suite downstairs and another described en-suite up a very narrow and steep staircase definitely not for the faint hearted or anyone with mobility problems. There is a handrail though and staff carried my bag up to the room. The HUGE bathroom is accessed by a separate door next to the bedroom, so not technically en-suite but a private bathroom which no-one else will access. Bedroom very warm and comfortable with very comfy double bed, armchair, flat-screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities Bathroom has shower rather than bath/shower and nice quality towels.
Rooms accessed via the large beer garden at back of pub, or via a side gate.
I booked in in the Lounge bar (no TV there thankfully so nice and peaceful), but was taken to my room via the other bar which was packed full as football was on TV there. Although very busy, everybody immediately formed a clear access path and were very welcoming and friendly.
Very good and ample breakfast with cereals and full English. No evening meal so cannot comment on local eateries. Staff very friendly and helpful. I had a problem with the car and they directed me to a local garage who fixed it in 30 minutes and only charged for the part, no labour costs. Car parking in side streets is for residents only but the pub provides a free permit (£10 returnable deposit). All in all, I would describe this as a quaint but very pleasant place to stay. I would return if in the area again.

We've had a 2 night stay and were made to feel most welcome. Super service and very friendly. Add that to great value for money.
Quaint building with lots of character. Both rooms en suite with all the facilities you need for a comfy stay. Love the personal Christmas touches in my room. Access to both rooms without needing to go through the pub. Free Parking permit offered and easy to park your car directly outside.
Breakfast delicious and plenty of food.
I would highly recommend and will most definitely be staying again as I visit Lincoln frequently. Top B&B!

We made a flying visit to Lincoln & stayed in the Queen in the West. It's a small, friendly local, conveniently located (only a few minutes walk from Brayford Pool). Admittedly they can't provide evening food, as their kitchen is too small, but they are lots of restaurants around. The room was clean & comfy, the beer good, with a nice decked garden and two bars to drink in. The breakfast was substantial & tasty. We'll certainly try to stay again if we have to stay in Lincoln for a night or two again.

I booked two of our guys in from work who were attending a conference nearby. They told me the rooms were not very nice and they had no en-suites. It was like to two rooms were added as an afterthought. One room was downstairs and had two doors, one straight into the car park and one into the corridor and there was a fight outside his door that night. The other room was at the top of a very narrow flight of stairs. They did have a key to lock the door leading to the rooms, but said it was not very easy to unlock, so good job there was not a fire. There was no sign of food served in the evening, so they ate out, although the breakfast was good and served by the landlords wife. This place is definitely more of a pub than a hotel.

Friendly local pub. Nice assortment of drinks available. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Local darts team and pub quiz night. No problem parking after nearby after 6 pm as residents car parking stops at that time. Wide age range of customers. Nice place to go for a fun night out with friends or a quiet place to chat with a partner.
