Stayed here for bed and breakfast - fantastic room, extremely friendly staff and amazing breakfast! Will definitely be back and would love to dine here as well - both the restaurant and menu look superb!

It is about 10/15 mins. walk I to shops and town centre down steep hill. Walked back up the cobbled Motherby Hill. Quite steep but worth it. Go into castle and through grounds to get to quaint cathedral quarter shops and cafes. Castle is well worth a visit. Room was extremely cosy and comfortable. Would go back.

Pleasantly surprised, recommended by a friend we enjoyed a lovely taster menu complete with wine. Fabulous food and great wines to match. We had a lovely table not overlooked by anyone, staff where very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay with a super restaurant and wonderful food. Rooms are tidy and clean and gives a lovely feeling of homely ness. I would thoroughly recommend a stay here especially as the location is good. Parking can be tricky though.

A very enjoyable short break in Lincoln. The Old Bakery is an excellent base, close to the cathedral and castle with a wide range of small art, craft and book shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants nearby. Our room was quite small, but en-suite and with a very comfortable bed. There were tea and coffee making facilities, a TV and free... More

This is good value establishment which is trying to be a number of things at the same time. It is a B & B, a restaurant and the owner runs cooking lessons from there as well evidently. There is parking on the road and plenty of parking close by as well so this is not a problem. We had a... More

The Old Bakery is a small 'Boutique' style hotel that is very convenient for the Cathedral Quarter of the city, being only a five minute walk away, via the castle grounds. The room was quite small but adequate for our short visit. It also enjoyed an en suite shower and toilet. The restaurant, which is the substantial part of the... More

Lovely clean and quaint property. Friendly owners and staff. Ideally situated to access the whole town and the bedroom was clean and very comfortable. Food was excellent and I would recommend a stay there.

My husband booked this lovely restaurant for our anniversary dinner. From start to finish it was first class. We were warmly greeted and shown to our table in the small room at the front. Our waitress was absolutely lovely and knowledgeable about all the varied dishes. We opted for the al a carte menu and were not disappointed. The starters... More

“If you get to the Old Bakery and it appears closed ring number on the door and someone comes to let you in. It is a restaurant below the rooms so be prepared for some delicious smells. ”
