As noted in a very useful review below, it's tempting to give this place a 3.5. The heating was intermittent, for example, and the shower area would have benefited from a deep clean; and the information for guests contained a curious history of the travails of Lincoln's car-using community (thought they'd done relatively well; what about Lincoln's lost bus routes...

Nowhere near worth fifty pounds per night- get into a premier inn or something similar. Traffic noise means keep your windows shut. Room was a mess when i arrived and was told to come back in half an hour.

I stayed here on a number of occasions over a period whilst working in the area. On two of my stays I got the lovely room at the front of the house with the big double bed which is on the website for the hotel. A lovely room it is to although floor is a bit creaky but a good...

Stayed for 1 night in December while visiting daughter in incoln. Friendly welcome, good car park, clean(mostly) and comfortable room, ideal location for us as it is just round the corner from our daughter and an easy 20 min walk into centre of Lincoln. A bit more attention to cleaning would be good, lots of dust on skirting board under...

Excellent! Everything was perfect but cooked breakfast and nice service were just the best of it! Parking facilities, great location:) We stayed there just one night but it was enough to see how well-organised this place is. Rooms are nicely decorated and extremely clean. There was a little surprise waiting for us - some biscuits:) I strongly recommend it:)

Decoration was very modern and the room was clean. The bed was basic and hard. The en suite was newly decorated and tiled, however there was no shower gel, soap or shampoo in the shower. No hook to hang the towel / robe whilst using the shower. No shelf to put toiletries on. The bulb in the over mirror light...

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for one night as we were visiting friends in Lincoln. We had a lovely and comfortable large room facing the main road but the traffic noise didn't disturb us. The breakfast was superb with plenty of choice and the proprietor is friendly, chatty and entertaining. We would definitely stay here again when...

I stayed at Hamiltons in Lincoln for 4 nights on my business trip. I was amazed that this B&B is just 3-starred, as the rooms were very nice and sunny. This little hotel has a style. But just one minus - they did not provide shower gels/shampoos. What else - the breakfast was very good - big and fine. Recommend!

My husband and I stayed last week at Hamiltons Hotel for 3 nights b&b whilst visiting my brother in Lincoln. Our two small dogs were made welcome, too. The hotel is well situated just outside the centre of the city, and is run in a relaxed and friendly way. We found the room with en suite spacious and very clean,...
