Good quality, clean rooms and a great location. Our double private room was really cool and some cool graphics and murals. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The barman Dave really made our stay though - entertaining, full of advice on things to do and went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time. A bloody...

Stayed for 2 nights at this hostel and had booked a private triple room. Arrived at reception and I was told that the room I had booked was never available to begin with so they had to put me and my friends (who I hadn't seen in a long time) in separate rooms, this wasn't such a big deal but...

So this was my second time staying here and I am still just as impressed. After visiting the horrific Hatters in Manchester it's safe to say I was glad to be back. The location is so central and very clean. The price is great. The only problem we had this time was that the heating was broke for a full...

Because I am a little over 21 I did worry about this style of place. But I had no need to worry. There was seven of us,two doubles and mine a three bed. The room was small but spotless. Water and biscuits in the room. We stayed for three nights. Towels in the room on the first night. Buffet breakfast...

Good location, cheap, the stuff is really nice and the hostel is clean. The breakfast is really good, complete. I'll definitely come back. Pub crawls and differents activities during the night, free food on Tuesdays night, kitchen available.

We spent Saturday night in a 4 beds room. The facilities were clean and comfy and the breakfast buffet was great (with warm croissants!). 5 mins walk from the city centre. Much better than the Manchester one.

We stayed in a 4 bed dorm and I must admit I was nervous after reading the reviews on here. It was o.k, very basic but clean. It was quite cold at times as has been mentioned but we prepared for this by bringing away more clothes. The room was shabby, chipped paint etc, cracked windows. My son thought it looked...

I don't know where to begin on how bad our stay was. Between the rude staff and freezing cold dirty rooms, here are just a few reasons why you should cancel your booking right away. > The hostel messed up booking fee initially. > Mouldy windows with broken latch, unable to close. > Dirty bed sheets, pubic hair in bed...

I recently spent two nights in Hatters and I can confidently say that I won't be staying here again. I was in a private room which cost around 120GBP per night and it was extremely disappointing for the price. My first impression of the room was that it was quite depressing looking with chipped paint, a damaged bathroom door and...

The building is very well kept and decorated. There is a huge social area for guests. I was lucky to stay on a Tuesday, when they have free dinner, of course it is not a 3 starts restaurant, but was ok. The room were clean, bathroom inside the room. Staff nice and helpful. Highly recommend.
