Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Beautiful, hotel, clean, tidy, not pointlessly flashy, lovely friendly helpful staff from the local area. Cosy dining room for breakfast and functions, with interesting table top designs made of newspaper stories on LFC, great touch.

Lovely place to stay. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was lovely coming from someone that does not eat breakfast. Nothing was too much for us to ask for. Very lucky to get to this hotel as it gets very busy on match days

You will not go wrong here for the price. The photos don’t do it justice. We were in room 3 for one night and it was perfect. Very clean and modern whilst retaining the original features. Tea and coffee making facilities in room. Nice big tv. Very comfy bed and nice crisp and cosy bedding, albeit only a double. Bathroom was immaculate. Foyer area very welcoming with lovely decor. Nice small bar area next to dining area where breakfast was served. All freshly prepared. I don’t have one bad thing to say about the Tia! And the two members of staff we dealt with were super, lovely ladies. Thanks again for your hospitality :)

We stopped at Hotel Tia for our trip to Anfield . We were met at the entrance and directed to our car parking space. Our room was spotlessly clean as was the whole hotel, staff were extremely friendly and helpful , great breakfast, perfect location. Would definitely recommend, especially if visiting for football.

Hotel TIA, wow, it's the most welcoming, smoothly planned match day experience. Having booked through Christine, meeting the rest of the team including her sister and also the absolutely legendary Karen Gill this was such a friendly, warm and relaxing experience, with a well stocked bar and balcony before sitting inside for food and the match. This visit was for Liverpool's final in Paris, and I preferred the idea of going local than travelling to Paris. There was pre-match live music (Jamie was there obviously but has performed previously. Andy did a great job of building up the crowd in the garden/open area below from our balcony). Then we were treated to a guest visit from Phil Neal, and there he was interviewed by Karen, who recalled her own stories of having the great Shanks as her grandad. Between them we were really well entertained before a dinner and ready for the match. My friends, who also felt a little bit too old for wandering around Paris, were so glad they chose this as an alternative experience. Plenty of supporters in the intimate venue, locally, from Ireland, Norway and it was a really friendly atmosphere. I'd do this again for a birthday pre-match experience as it's real value for money when you consider the alternative of Liverpool FC official hospitality costs.

I had a brilliant stay at the Hotel Tia, Christine, Sure Louise and all the staff were brilliant. I will be back there. So clean, beautiful decor and best service ever. I stayed with them and am always cautious of privately owned properties but it was absolutely the best !
