Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Had a great birthday at the Liverpool Hilton hotel. The views from the junior suite was great and plenty of space for family to celebrate with champagne. The breakfast was great and access to executive lounge.

Stayed here a few times over the years and always had a good stay. The staff members were very friendly and accommodating, just as always. The rooms are looking a little tired and need some money need to be put back into them. There seems to have been recent work in the public areas such as the bar, restaurant and lobby as these areas still seem quite fresh. We paid extra for an upgraded room and for use of Executive Lounge. This was worth it and I would recommend paying the extra. The only disappointing part fit his was that there was no brandy to drink during the 2 hours where alcoholic drinks are provided. This meant leaving the exec loving to go the bar and pay for brandy, which was ridiculously priced at around £18 for a double. I know you lay a little more in hotels and this is expected, but this is a little extortionate. The stay itself was good and exactly as could be expected from a Hilton. Room was comfortable, quiet and had everything we needed. Breakfast the next morning was also good and there was a great selection of food and drink. Great location of the hotel, being right on the middle of Liverpool One. Hotel used to offer reduced parking at Q Park but don’t offer that deal anymore for some reason, so if driving make sure you booked your Q Park parking in advance and take advantage of advance deals.

Stayed for an over night get away with my partner. Location is great for the city centre. Lady on reception was friendly while checking us in and so was the lady when checking us out. We had room service very late in the evening and even though it was just pizza it was hot and tasty for pizza! The room I feel is dated, feels like the bathroom has been freshened up however the bedroom is dated. Dark oak furniture, dark brown curtains and really low lighting!! The room felt very dark because of the lack of lighting and not great for putting make up 🤣 The bed was really comfortable and we both slept really well.

When to celebrate my wife 60th birthday got to the hotel had a executive room booked, they were great to help us out, and they managed to upgrade us to a suite. We were there only for the one night which was a shame, but it was a lovely gesture on the hotels part to upgrade us to a suite. The afternoon we arrived we had a afternoon tea, before we went to see the Chinese Shen Yun show for the Chinese New Year year of the Dragon. The afternoon tea was spectacular, so much choice of sandwiches, then you had the plate of different cakes, and then to top it all off there was a scone on top with cream and jam. The staff made my wife 60th birthday celebration, a real joy and we can't express our gratitude enough to them.

This is a good version of a Hilton Hotel. Everything works as it should do, the hotel is in a great location for the city centre and even has some onsite parking. Food is good, the staff are polite and professional and the rooms are great. We stayed in the 7th floor Corner Suite and don’t have any complaints or issues. It had good views and was filled with light, plus it had a great bathroom.

Good location, lovely bar area. The rooms, or room I was in could probably do with refurbishing but it was clean etc. Big tv, comfy bed, nice linen and I liked the toiletries. Breakfast was nice also so for the price of a weekend stay I would say value for money and expectations met. Overall a solid option for visiting Liverpool and I would return.

Arrived at 1pm for afternoon tea before checking in. Afternoon tea was OK for what we paid but nothing special. Service good until (I'm assuming) the manager came and reprimanded who I think was a supervisor about the girls not wearing their aprons. Could see she was embarrassed as he didn't do this discreetly. He was bossing them all around loudly. Very unprofessional in front of customers and her team. We got up and left as it was so awkward. Maintenance also painting around the place. I don't think this should be done during service times. Room was ok. No biscuits on tea tray which you would expect in such a place. Room ready for re furb but bed comfortable. Had to call desk around 11pm to ask them to tell next door to keep noise down which they did do straight away fair play. Overall would return but that manager left a sour taste. Be kind to your staff they work hard and deserve respect.

Stayed here for a birthday weekend away. Hotel is in a brilliant location, right next to Liverpool One and 5 min walk from Albert Dock. Staff were brilliant and breakfast was amazing. Only downside is the room could do with a little maintenance, just small things but needed some tlc. Would deffo stay here again.

This hotel was an enjoyable stay. I did knock one star off due to a couple of things that I noticed. Other than that, it was faultless. The location was fabulous. You are near everything. The Liverpool One shopping centre quite literally on the doorstep. Loads of restaurants, cafe’s nearby. It cost me and my friend £10 each for breakfast for the entire stay! Breakfast was a Buffet and all you can eat and drink. Just perfect and for £10 you can’t go wrong at all. Nice hot shower, comfortable bed. Good facilities. The hotel smelt clean 24/7 and was well maintained by staff. Someone always there if you needed help. Now to why I knocked it down to 4 star instead of 5. I walked into the bathroom and found the floor was a little uneven, in one place only to find a cracked tile and that’s why it felt uneven. No doubt, the hotel will correct this and this obviously isn’t in everybody’s room. Also went to make a hot drink and my friend and I found the kettle smelt weirdly of bleach and there was a grey hair in the water.. No thanks. Otherwise from the two points I would stay here again 100%. Such a nice location and lovely staff with really nice room that I’d have no complaints to come back.
