Had a lovely warm welcome from Lewis on reception when checking in. Room was clean and sufficient for me and my mum. We had tickets for the theatre and wanted to be centrally located so my mum didn’t have to walk too far. We had a lovely morning in the spa using the facilities, whilst the shower and changing rooms seemed to be a little dated I thought the pool was just perfect. Breakfast was fab, so much choice and such friendly staff happy to help in any way. Had one of the best weekends in Liverpool so thank you Marriott.…
Check in fine and room ready and very nice but a bit noisy from guests in corridor and noisy delivery early hours on cobbles, bed comfortable and room fine, breakfast restaurant and choice, no problem. location great for transport, shops and attractions. All in all I though great. I stayed with my partner and was about to book her in for a birthday treat with her sister but with the concern of other reviewer security and guests roaming corridors I decided to book elsewhere as she is very security conscious. Maybe install chains on bedroom doors as deterred us.…
The hotel was very central to everything, we walked everywhere. The breakfast was fantastic, staff are incredible very friendly and knowledgeable of the sites to see in the city. We had a wonderful time and when we return to Liverpool will definitely stay at this hotel.
First time at this Marriott Hotel. Very good stay. Staff friendly and helpful. Service good. Housekeeping excellent. Breakfasts good. Shame it does not have a restaurant for dinner - only bar snacks. Pool OK. Fairly Central for the City but in a bit of a shabby area. Quite noisy at night with traffic and people shouting as it backs onto the Bus Station. Also early mornings with lorry deliveries.…
My wife and I had a one night stay here when we had tickets for the Liverpool Philharmonic. The hotel is easy to find, right next to Lime Street Station, and very close to the city centre. Parking is in a Q-Park facility right next door to the hotel, and is clearly sign posted. As Titanium, at check in, were told breakfast was comped in the restaurant, the very helpful young lady who checked us in explained there was no lounge in the hotel, so we were offered $10 bar credit or bonus points in lieu . We were upgraded to a large corner room with huge bed and settee, the was room clean, comfortable and quiet. It overlooked the bus station on one side, and the main road on the other, but the outside noise didn't bother us at all. As it is close to the centre, there are loads of places to eat nearby including a Wetherspoon's about 50 metres away (if you want cheap and cheerful.) Breakfast was excellent - the buffet was kept very well stocked, even though it was quite busy, the the omelette chef was very good too. All the staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. At check out, parking is added to your bill (if applicable) but the staff were happy for us to check out - spend the morning in the city, and then come back to have our car park ticket endorsed as you only have 15 minutes to get out of the car park. There are absolutely no negatives to report, and we would certainly stay there again.…
