Lovely, clean and spacious apartments. The one we stayed in had 8 single very comfortable beds, 2 shower rooms and a kitchen dining come sitting room. Very well worth the money and only a 20 minute walk from Albert Docks. The staff are very friendly and helpful and there’s a shop just 2 minutes walk away that sells everything you need.

I stayed at May's apartments for two nights with a group of friends.
The apartments are spacious and the staff are all very friendly and helpful.
Kitchen & Bathrooms clean and modern with comfortable bedrooms.
The location is just outside the city centre about £5 in a taxi
It was good not having keys and using keypads as I think we would have lost keys 😂
Good communication from the apartments as well
I would definitely recommend these apartments. Great value for money.

Stayed here for 4 days and to say that they were great is an understatement, absolutely spotless everything you needed right down to supplying you with kitchen essentials cleaning towels the list is endless. Beds were so comfy and wait for it bathrooms yeah I said bathrooms as there were 2 one had shower, toilet, hand basin and other had shower, toilet, hand basin and also a huge bath. The staff were brilliant, so thanks to Callum and the rest of the staff for making our stay so enjoyable will definitely recommend and have done already and we will definitely be back if you will have us.

Although all the opinions we read before getting there were pretty good, we were quite unlucky during our stay.

The kitchen and bathrooms were clean, so we were very happy at first sight, but the horror came when we went so sleep. As soon as we opened one of the beds we saw few HAIRS from someone else on the pillow and the fitted sheet, and as soon as we started looking for more unpleasant surprises we found some suspicious stains on the sheets.
Luckily we had rent a big apartment with some spare beds, so we changed to a different bed with cleaner sheets.
However, the rooms carpet was dirty in ALL the rooms (stains and even some rolling tobacco remains!) and we didn't feel very comfortable not wearing shoes around the apartment.

Besides, the fire alarm didn't stop beeping THE WHOLE night, and although we managed to fall asleep it took us a while.

On top of everything, our room was opened without knocking the door (not one but) TWICE by the room service. Once after our arrival, and another time before we left the morning after. Both times straight after we had had a shower and we were half dressed!

Before checking out we informed the staff about the inconvenience we went through, and we didn't even got a proper response or explanation.

In conclusion, you'd better find another place to stay if you visit Liverpool!
Although one of the pros of the place (and the main reason we decided to book a room there) is that they offer "free parking", there are few car park in the city centre that cost £6 per day.

My family, friends and I booked Mays apartments for my 18th birthday as i was attracted by the modern and cheap advertisement. We planned to go out in Liverpool and to use the flat as little as possible, to be respectful to the hosts and not have a party and cause issues in the apartments for other members.

Everything was fine until we got back in the early hours of the morning. My family and friends have always been respectful and I would consider us all very mature and empathetic. Therefore, when we arrived we kept quiet until we reached our rooms and then spoke at a normal volume. 2 of the 3 flats we booked were opposite each other and fairly isolated from other rooms, which is where us ‘younger kids’ were staying. Within 15 minutes of settling down the supervisor came upstairs and started shouting at us, telling us to keep the noise down because his two children were downstairs. We didn’t understand why were were being made to feel uncomfortable given that we were away from other residents and knew we were acting appropriately.

My parents then came upstairs to meet us some time later and explained that they were told off for being too loud, despite only making a cup of tea and then getting into bed. The adults downstairs did argue their case, however this was returned with threats from the same supervisor.

The supervisor made various visits to our rooms and spoke in a very aggressive tone. He threatened to kick us out even though we are a group of young polite adults who we felt he only wanted to intimidate us.

Although we did stay up until the early hours of the morning, we did not once play music or speak in a disrespectful manner. We were all gathered in the living/dining room watching the tv and all of our electricity turned off (in all rooms). We didn’t know what had happened but instantly thought that the guy working there had turned it off. This then meant that we couldn’t charge our phones, have a shower, cook any breakfast etc. As well as this, my uncle suffers from diabetes and needed electricity for his medication which we explained to them the next morning. They then only turned the electricity on in one of our apartments.

In the morning my cousins went to ask whether the electricity could be fixed as he suggested it was only a technical issue. The managers laughed in his face and pretended there was a problem with the electric but did not explain the real reason why it had turned off. This was followed again by threats to kick us out within a certain time frame.

We were left extremely disappointed and angry. The staff are rude, unprofessional and extremely disrespectful. Definitely spend your money on somewhere where there are decent people running the place x

Contacted this provider to cancel our booking via booking.com as, due to COVID-19, the show we were travelling to see has been cancelled.

I also called them multiple times but to no avail.

They took ages to respond and refused to give a full or even partial refund. I won’t be rebooking due to the poor customer service I feel I have received.

We have just returned from a two-night stay in Mays Apts Liverpool, we arrived on Friday morning, we had a large group booking for 3 apts, the photos of the apts looked great online but what we were met with was awful. We did not get the main apts as are advertised but a house up the road that is converted to four apts. We had three of these apts. The apt we were in 151 was not the cleanest, the window was broken in the bathroom, the number was missing on the plaque outside, and the mugs and glasses were all stained. The sofa bed in the living room had only a sheet, pillow and the 'duvet' was the thinnest bed throw, it was so cold I had to wear my coat to bed each night, as the major problem of the stay was the heating did not work in our apt, we had no heating all wknd. We did say it the person in 'reception' really just a room that we had no heating he said he would look at it, but nothing was looked at. These apts in the houses really need an overhaul they are tired and extremely rundown. I would not recommend staying in these apts at all.
I would say Avoid at all costs, but this would be based on the house apts, maybe the other apts are better quality, but I wouldn't personally stay here myself again.

Not happy with the booking process. Had an email on the day to say complete a form adding a passport or driving licence and card details ( and money will be deducted if any damage etc, etc). I know this may be standard but the message was quite blunt and threatening and not everyone carries or has a driving licence or passport. Without it they would not give you apartment details to get in.
After 3pm there is no one at check in so information is sent via text.
Apartment is very big. 10 min from centre. Surrounding area very run down and dirty.
Appears on the surface clean but a lot of mould around bathroom and shower . Oven also dirty but covered with tin foil in places.
I also had a few threatening texts stating the rules of no loud music or events in the premises and if we do so the electricity will be cut off and we will be asked to leave by security. Whilst I understand hotels and apartments may have had past problems with guests, as a mature couple staying for sightseeing purposes to have this text as a 'welcome' text I considered threatening, not necessary and certainly not welcoming. If there has been problems with past guests then the complex should have a reception 24 hours.
There is also CCTV around the flats which is partly re - assuring but also invasive as records every movement of its guests.

Whilst the apartment was overall big and 10 mins walk to the centre, I think overall I would not recommend as there is plenty of other accommodation to chose from in Liverpool.

Good evening, I would just like to point out a couple of things with regards to the apartment the smell of marijuana when you walk in the building is terrible. It’s inside the apartment somebody’s been smoking weed for children can smell it

they are very upset about it. There is washing in the washing machine and the bottle opener does not work. There is no bottle opener just a piece of plastic

Blind in one building is just hanging over the role and it is quite disappointed with regards to the smell of drugs which is terrible

Hi Mays house is on the other side of Liverpool to Anfield, Its a short work 5 mins from the bus station near the Albert dock and busses run from the bus station direct to Anfield. Not much nighlife close by but as said previously it is just a short work or easy bus route from the centre. Albert dock is beautiful at night and has an amazing nightlife
