Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The hotel is old, the wind and cold comes from the windows that they lack of the isolation, sound proof is the worse, stains all over the walls, the hollow is so dirty. Not value for money 125€ a night. The bed is not comfy, the room is small. I don’t recommend this hotel.

One of the worst “hotels” I have ever been in. And I say hotel very lightly. It is a very bad hostel at best. The staff are friendly. However, the room is very small, it is extremely cold. It is very unsafe with the way they send you from hotel A to hotel B across a lot of stairs. The room is relatively clean, however, there was mould in the bathroom which is dangerous. I would say this is 100% the worst hotel I have stayed in relative to what I have paid for. Very disappointed considering it is apparently a 3 star hotel. I would highly recommend to avoid this place at all costs.

Just returned from a great 2 day visit to Liverpool. Hotel is very basic but clean and in a very good location, for the money we paid we found it very good value. We don’t spend anytime in the room, only to sleep and shower so it was ideal for us. Reception staff we’re always there to help if needed. Like all other reviews there is no kettle in the rooms so we took our own. There is a Greggs downstairs and in reception you can get a cuppa if needed.

I would like to thank Cameron, I think his name was for being so understanding and looking after me on 10th December, due to circumstances I found myself struggling to find a hotel after something went wrong with accommodation where I was supposed to be staying, I called and explained the booking app wasn't working due to the extreme weather conditions, I got a taxi and immediately he made me feel welcome and safe, a massive thankyou. The rooms were clean and all I needed. A little bit noisy on the street outside but at the end of the day it's a city centre so you expect it. The only issue I encountered was room was a little cold and I couldn't get the water to warm up, cold water never harmed anyone. I look forward to booking again in 2024

Paid for 2 night stay Saturday 2nd dec and Sunday 3rd but after the first night couldn’t face another night. Quite a tacky hotel that really needs redecorating everywhere. Very scruffy. Our room was icy cold and a wood floor didn’t help. Air con wouldn’t switch off. No wardrobe, no drawers, nor coffee making facilities, one plug socket so could choose if u had light, phone or a plug in heater that hardly worked. The light above the bed just flickered madly but the worst thing of all was the bed. One very hard pillow and a very lumpy bed that made strange pinging noises with each movement. Slept with clothes on and coats over top of quilt. Didn’t have a shower as no heating in bathroom which was so cold. Couldn’t face Sunday night so went home.

I am utterly disgusted with my experience at this hotel. Despite being assured that my bike would be stored in a safe room accessible only to staff, after coming down in the morning to collect my bike before checking out i noticed that my bike wasnt in the room it was left in, as i couldnt see it through the glass panel on the door. I asked the staff at reception where it was, the man said he doesnt know and called the manager. The manager then told me my bike was stolen. I honestly dont even know how to describe what im feeling right now. My bike cost over £1000 and i trusted them to keep it in that room, what makes it worse is that when i asked how it possibly could of been stolen from a room only staff have access to, the manager told me that they removed it from that room and left it out in the reception area as it was apparently blocking a fire exit. The fact that a member of staff member put it there in the first place is one thing, but to then remove it without letting me know is beyond me. I would have rather known and took the bike to my room or even checked out early, than to be in the situation im in right now. The incompetency, attitude, lack of responsibility and breach of trust is disgraceful.
