Been many times before to this lovely pub but this time we thought we'd stay for dinner. Half the menu (which is already very limited on a Sunday) wasn't available and the roast for the money they're charging wasn't worth it unfortunately.

We hadn't been to the Victoria in since the autumn of last year when they cancelled a reservation for family visiting from Australia at very short notice. Today, we thought it would be a good opportunity to see how things had changed (and hopefully improved since then. We had taken a chance on a walk in Sunday lunch, but with...

We stayed four days and held a 40th birthday party for my son in the Uncle Albert room. Taryn made all the arrangements and gave us a warm welcome and so did Joe. Thoroughly professional, she leads a great team. Sian and Rory looked after us well throughout the party and after. Tomas is a great barman and with Lucas...

Lunch, Sunday 12th February 2017 This pub was always consistent in terms of food, service and value for money. Visited today after not eating there since October time last year. The food was still good but the service was appalling. Although table service you had to leave your table and hunt out staff. Then over charged. Then told we sat...

We went for Sunday lunch. The food was pretty good but the service very slow. Staff were nice but probably overworked as it took a long time to be served. Also, the pub was pretty chilly - could do with the fire being lit.

I've lived in Peckham for most of my life so decided to venture here for a Sunday roast, with my family. At the cost of £17 for a roast dinner, I was expecting something very special. Unfortunately this was not the case, the plate came with minimal vegetables and the 2 roast potatoes were over cooked where they had been...

Probably better to book to eat but lively modern pub with good gastro pub/restaurant food. Nice staff, accommodating since we didn't book. Great choices on menu, both had chicken pie and shared fries with daughter, partner had usual steak, very well done. Good sized meals, London prices but not extortionate. Great portion size on warm gooey banana cake pudding we...

Surprised to find a lovely 15 room boutique hotel atop of a warm and friendly pub in SE London, when visiting my daughter and her husband. The staff was incredibly accommodating, the rooms which had been recently refurbished were perfectly done in today's minimalist but comfortable style. Breakfast was included in the rate and offered a variety of options. Nice...
