We love staying at the VSC. The concierges and receptionists are so helpful, and our room on the 4th floor was lovely - high enough to be away from traffic noise. Comfortable bed and furniture and immaculate bathroom. We ate in the restaurant on three occasions and once again the staff were extremely nice, and the food excellent. The choices for the breakfast buffet are excellent, with food to cater for all tastes.

As well as staying at the VSC with work, my training course was also hosted there. On arrival I was greeted by the concierge who never faltered on their attentive service throughout the entire stay. The check in process was straightforward, and rooms very comfortable and well presented. The military plaques and artwork around the entire hotel made for a museum style stay as I wandered slowly down the corridors, looking and reading at all the different paraphernalia adorning the walls. A slight quirk was the lift service to the higher floors. Obviously the building has been extended so there’s a need to get in one lift so far up the building, walk down the corridors and get another lift to the upper floors. That said, the process of getting to my room was explained concisely so I had no trouble at all, and it gave me additional walls to enjoy the artwork etc. The training room was well presented with a place setting, plenty of water available, and each day a small selection of chocolates/sweets presented for each delegate. The tea/coffee facilities were great with plenty to go around. Breakfast was a vast buffet with everything from smoothies to black pudding. I also enjoyed the curry buffet, a Tuesday evening offer, with a very reasonable price tag. The location of the VSC is brilliant for all areas of London. Marble Arch tube station is just 3 minutes walk away, although on arrival, I was early so got off at Oxford Circus and enjoyed a 20 minute stroll to arrive. This members club was impressive from the time we arrived. Professional,friendly staff made our stay so enjoyable. Our room was impeccably clean & comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. Breakfast was superb with so much choice. If we lived in the U.K. we would definitelylook into membership.

I stayed again as a member, retired regular soldier, and one of an adult family group on this occasion, including another member. The 2 night stay was to attend a wedding in central London. We, my wife and I, continue to be impressed by the highest standard of the accommodation and, very importantly, the food. The service from staff is exceptional and diligent, day and night. The most exquisite please to stay- a HOME away from home. We have stayed at high end places in London but VSC supersedes them all with is effortless hospitality by the most amazing staff- forever so willing to help you with whatever it is you need. The concierge team are a magical bunch and so are the housekeeping team, along with the breakfast team. Location is perfect- 2 mins walk to Oxford St and Hyde Park. Rooms have amazing showers with excellent water pressure and the most homely rooms with super cold air conditioning. To the wonderful team @VSC, keep doing what you do! We will be back! P.s- don’t miss bfast. It is sublime!

I’ve been a member of VSC for about 15 years. Every time I stay the quality of the facilities and professionalism and friendliness of the staff gets better and better. This Club-Hotel is a real gem and the location is as good as it gets. Superb.

I stayed here on the 3rd August 2023 in a family room which was two rooms with adjoining door . Both were on suite and very nice . The rooms was nice and clean with all the facilities you could require such as safe, tea/coffee and kettle along with iron and board. The club is near to Hyde park and the public rooms such as the bar and restaurant are clean and nice and it's an oasis in a very busy area.the place felt safe and the staff were all accommodating and pleasant. . The bar prices are really good for central London and I would recommend a stay. . I parked in the q park in Hyde park which for 24 hours would be £28 which is discounted by staying here .. I would stay again.

Excellent in every way. Great value in the heart of London. Close to tube station and all major sightseeing places. Hyde Park is just around the corner as is Oxford Street. Lovely breakfasts & staff are very friendly. The only negative was that we could have used a small refrigerator in the room as we were there for 10 nights.

It has been a few years since we stayed at the Club and we were so pleased to see that the standards that make this place so special are still there. This is an oasis in a busy part of London and a place that we will definitely come back to. The staff are excellent and I can recommend the restaurant and the bar as venues definitely worth a visit. The accommodation rooms have been freshly renovated and there is a very positive feel to the club.
