Stayed there just for a night because of the change of plans and that was the closest hostel with 2 available beds. Got a room for 4, which was great. Got a bit tired walking all the way to the top with my suitcase, but not a major issue. Everything was clean, the staff was really nice and helpful. Security...

It is the cleanest hostel I've ever stayed in. The staff are friendly, it has a big kitchen. It is located in a very central position and it is cheap in regards to its standards. I highly recommend this hostel!

I stayed in a 4 person room for 7 nights and then again for one night to catch a flight. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They assign beds (top vs bottom) and are willing to accommodate changes if possible. The Royal Albert Hall bus stop is about 3 minutes away and the tube is about ten minute walk. (I...

Hey, thank you very much for your kind words! We're very happy you had a great stay at our hostel! The hostel is without a doubt in one of the most incredible neighbourhoods in London with amazing transport link to just about anywhere. Although, a nice stroll through the park is always an amazing way to get around the city....

I stayed here recently in a private room - it had everything you would need and the hostel location is very central. Not much in South Kensington in terms of late bars but good restaurants and surrounding places to go- hostel is about a 5-10 min walk from the tube station and from the natural history museum and there are...

Hi, thank you for taking some time out to write us a review! We're very happy you were able to enjoy some of the cool little restaurants and pubs around the area. The Underground has recently become 24 hours on the weekend so you are now 10 minutes by tube from Soho or the bigger clubs in Leicester Square, (with...

This hostel was in a great location very central. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean. We were here for 5 nights and had multiple room mates and never had a problem. No lifts so be prepared to lugg your suitcase/backpack up huge flights of stairs.

I stayed here for a few nights. There was absolutely a lovely atmosphere with a great common room and kitchen. The location of the hostel is only 1 minute walk to hyde park and 10 minutes to a few of the biggest musea of London. I think for this price this is almost the best you could get. I slept...

I was traveling with my sister who is a few years older than I am. Because she is over the age limit (40), we couldn't stay there. The receptionist cited that the their insurance does not cover visitors staying there above 40 years old. However, he did return my money and even recommended another nearby hotel for us to try.

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
