This hotel is located in a London neighbourhood that is not a place for tourists obviously. There is not much to do or see nearby. We stayed here to be close to a friends place. Staff at reception very friendly, rooms clean enough, but avoid the ones at the front. However the appearance of the hotel is strange since it...

Visit from Oz, we found London Star to be budget accommodation that was clean and comfortable. Checking in process was quick and efficient. There is a lift to help get luggage to first and second floors. Although the room was compact, it was sufficient as we were only really there at night. The rooms were serviced daily. It was airy...

Visiting from Ireland with family of 5 and looking for a good quality hotel, with good access to the sights in London that wouldn't break the bank. The London Star fit the bill perfectly. We stayed in what they call the Deluxe Family Room. The room is on the ground floor, to the right of the main entrance (has separate...

Stayed there for two nights. One thing that I will disclose before hand is that the weather was super hot about 25 C at night. They provided a fan but the room was unbearable and you couldn't fully open the windows. In the evening it turns into a shisha bar which is very noisy if you are above it so...

I was initially attracted due to the low cost of the accommodation and proximity to where I was working. I got a very warm welcome at reception and happened to mention I recalled stopping here before. Before I could think I was offered a special price for a meal and drink or money off the menu prices as I was...

www research suggested a hotel with a bar. Arrived late as train was delayed and really wanted a beer. No alcohol served here. As long as you are aware of that its fine. Really friendly staff and nice food. There are a few nice bars a short walk away. Room looked clean and tidy until I had to move the...

I booked this on late rooms for £52 for 1 night. Upon Arrival I was greeted with stares from around 20 men smoking Hubbly Bubbly pipes in a plastic canopy. Nobody was present in the bar area so this hotel is obviously catered for a specific type of client. Check was fine except the hotel requires to take a copy...
