Located a stone's throw from the Covent Garden Apple Market, this is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at in London. The staff were so helpful and accommodating, the rooms were comfortable and clean and the bar was excellent. They have thought of everything and there are little touches throughout that make you feel appreciated and welcomed, from the beautiful coffee table books and helpful London guides to the scrumptious turndown-service butter cookie. Everything was expertly presented and thought out and I would highly recommend.

This boutique hotel in the heart of Covent Garden is simply excellent. Situated in a quiet pedestrian street, it is just a stone’s throw from the many restaurants and theatres of the area. Our room was extremely comfortable, with the most luxurious quality of mattress and pillows. The bathroom was well-appointed, with all the usual amenities one would expect in this class of hotel. The level of cleanliness was exceptional. Without exception, the staff were most welcoming, and helpful. A particular shout-out to Tudor, who was so courteous in calling our taxi, and escorting us and our luggage to the taxi. I would highly recommend this establishment.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Henrietta Hotel. We went for a long weekend from the US and could not have chosen a better hotel. It was my husbands first time in London and the location could not have been more perfect - exceptional area with many pubs, restaurants and shops and easily accessible to any tourist attraction (walking or via the tube). The hotel itself was very cute, clean and had a lot of character. We were upgraded to a bigger room because it was my birthday - which was such a nice gesture! I also received some bday goodies. Additionally the staff was SO nice and friendly. We could not have had a better experience and I would recommend anyone to book a room there! We will be back for sure!

Hi there! Thanks for such a perfect rating. We're thrilled to hear that the upgraded room added a special touch to your birthday celebration – surprises like that are just a piece of cake for us! It's great that our central location in the vibrant heart of the city made your husband's first visit to London a walk in the park. Our team is over the moon to hear they made your stay extra friendly and welcoming; we always aim to provide service that's as top-notch as our cocktails at the bar. We all hope to see you again on your next visit to London. Take care, Joanna Tutak, Hotel General Manager

Excellent hotel and location. Very clean, comfortable bed. Loved the touch of having the slippers and robes too. We decided to take the breakfast at £24 each but were disappointed by this. The cooked options were actually really good, the problem is in the layout of the buffet. Hot water for tea is in a small silver flask which was Luke warm. To fill it up the staff had to go to the bar, by the time we got hot water there were no teapots. Once we got a teapot and hot water there was no milk left! Aargh! It would actually save staff time if they brought the tea and coffee to the table as many places do. No teaspoons either, so we stirred with a knife! We found one later. Coffee was cold too. There was a nice toaster but only sour dough crusty bread which looked a bit big for the toaster. The buffet was set out on a table round which there were seats, it was all a bit odd. We ate elsewhere the following morning and it didn’t spoil our stay, great hotel otherwise!

Dear Sheila, Thank you very much for your review. We're thrilled to hear you enjoyed our hotel's prime location and found your bed comfortable, not to mention the cosy touch of slippers and robes. It's always great to know that our attention to cleanliness and comfort hits the mark! We regret that the layout of our buffet and the temperature of your tea didn't live up to your expectations. It's usually a hit, with a toaster that can handle even the heartiest of sourdough! While our hot beverages are a morning staple, it seems we dropped the ball on keeping them warm and ready for you. We'll look into ensuring the buffet flows more smoothly so that no guest has to stir their tea with a knife again. Our team always aims to serve up a breakfast that's as satisfying as our beds, so we appreciate your feedback. We hope to be able to welcome you back again in the future. Best wishes, Joanna Tutak, Hotel General Manager

We were treated from the moment we arrived at the Henrietta , Welcome ,and early check in was a lovely surprise gift . A wonderful birthday treat ,just a few yards from Covent Garden A complimentary drink and handwritten welcome . No substitute for personal service .We were upgraded to an executive room quiet and gorgeously decorated in art deco style . Huge double shower and washbasins . A superb lunch in the hotel restaurant .Delicious Burrata on a bed of samphire with toasted almonds .Onglet steak perfectly cooked , chestnut panacotta with chocolate crumble . Thankfully only one candle ! But a fun moment when the staff sang ! The staff are lovely here especially the musical bar person who made sure everything was perfect ! What a treasure she is. That afternoon a knock at the bedroom door Violetta from housekeeping charmingly offering home made shortbread and fresh milk lemon , “more coffee , tea?” Lovely brekkie too, delicious fruit salad , yummy apricot jam.however it would also be nice to serve marmalade..We had both been ill and left feeling we had had a tonic!

Hi there! Your positive feedback made our day. Your early check-in surprise was our way of starting your birthday celebration on a high note, and are thrilled it added a special touch. It's fantastic that the personal service and the executive room upgrade hit the mark for you. Our art deco style is a guest favorite, and we're glad it provided a beautiful backdrop for your stay. The musical talents of our bar staff are just one of the many ways we aim to make every moment perfect for you. We take pride in the little details, like the complimentary drink and the home-baked shortbread from Violetta, which I'm happy to hear made your stay even sweeter. Your compliments about the lunch in our restaurant are much appreciated, and the Burrata and onglet steak sound like they were a hit! As for the marmalade, I'll make a note—perhaps we can add that zesty option to our breakfast spread. We want every guest to leave feeling refreshed. We all hope to see you again on your next visit to London. Take care, Joanna Tutak, Hotel General Manager

Just of Covent Garden this bijou hotel is in a fabulous location for exploring London . We’ve never stayed before so wasn’t sure what to expect. We walked straight past it at first as reception is tucked down the side of the restaurant. Up to the first floor to room number 2. An amazingly clean appointed room. Huge bathroom with a his and her shower , fluffy bathrobes and slippers . Spotless. The bed was really comfortable and great pillows too. Little touches like proper milk in the mini bar for a cuppa in the morning and a Nespresso machine . The air con was very efficient and room absolutely spotless. No marks scuffs or stains anywhere. It’s not a destination hotel and we stayed room only as we found a great cafe around the corner for breakfast, but it’s most definitely a great place to make a base from to explore London . We would definitely stay again

Dear Quorny, Thank you for providing us with your feedback about your recent stay. It's fantastic to hear that the room's cleanliness and the comfort of the bed made your stay enjoyable. Our housekeeping team takes great pride in maintaining spotless rooms, so they'll be chuffed to hear your compliments! We do take our pillow selection seriously – glad it made for a great night's sleep. The little touches like fresh milk and a Nespresso machine are our way of making sure you start your day on the right foot, and it's lovely to know you appreciated them. It sounds like you've had a bit of a treasure hunt finding us next to the restaurant, but I hope that added a bit of adventure to your arrival. As you've discovered, our location is perfect for exploring the heart of London, and we're delighted it served as a great base for your adventures. We hope to welcome you back. Best wishes, Joanna Tutak, Hotel General Manager

I love this hotel! We stayed for my daughters 18th and they could not do enough for us. We were upgraded when we arrived to the top floor suite which was magical with a super view and huge amazing bathroom with a roll top bath. They had decorated with balloons, a cake, champagne and gifts for my daughter! On top of this we got 2 complimentary drinks. We loved the room so much we stayed in for room service with some delicious pasta. Adored our stay!

Dear Christine, Thank you for taking the time to share your review with us. We're delighted you loved the surprise upgrade to our top floor suite. Isn't the view just magical? And that roll top bath is a real treat, isn't it? Your daughter's 18th birthday sounds like it was a truly special occasion, and we're thrilled we could add to the enjoyment with some balloons, cake, champagne, and gifts. Plus, those two complimentary drinks are our little way of saying 'cheers' to you and your family! It's great to know our room service hit the spot with that delicious pasta dish. We're all about creating memorable experiences, and it's fantastic to know we nailed it with you. We hope to see you again on your next visit to London. Great position right in the heart of Covent Garden and two minutes to a tube station. The only problem was the hotel was split into 2 with the reception and the restaurant on one side of the street and the rooms were on the other side of the road in another building. after 30 minutes of finding reception I was taken to my room. Service was fantastic. The rooms were beautiful, 1920 style which have been completely done up. everything clean and tidy and tons of room.

Are you looking for a different hotel experience? Do you detest being hermetically sealed in a room and cooked alive for the weekend? Do you loath soulless corridors, zombie like staff and formulaic rooms? Then the Henrietta Hotel Covent Garden is for you. The service was faultless from the moment we arrived. An early check-in request was swiftly approved and we were shown to our room, situated in the separate building overlooking the peaceful St Paul’s churchyard. Bespoke soft furnishings greeted us, high ceilings, wonderful stone bathroom tiling, a cracking soaker shower and yes original windows one can actually open. The small issues we did have were swiftly addressed with a smile and then some. Cristina and all the staff really went the extra mile for us and made it that special weekend in London. Whilst hardly rich, we wanted a more boutique stay in the city and if you have the means we’d highly recommend spending that little extra beyond your ‘average’ hotel. Based on this, we carefully researched various options - the Henrietta did not disappoint. We’d suggest three nights as a minimum to get the full ‘Henrietta experience’ and the location is just perfect for all manner of London adventures. We even got a complimentary shoe shine from the lovely chaps at the neighbouring boot maker Joseph Cheaney & Sons. A return trip to the hotel some time is definitely planned - what better commendation is there? Bravo Henrietta Hotel, bravo 👏 Brad & Julia x

Hi Brad and Julia, Thanks for this kind review. It's great to know that you found our service faultless and that Cristina and the team made your stay special. We're happy that the bespoke furnishings and the charm of our stone-tiled bathrooms hit the right note with you. There's something satisfying about being able to open a window to the London air – health and safety permitting, of course! We're delighted that you found our location perfect for your adventures and that the extra touches like the complimentary shoe shine added that sparkle to your stay. It seems you've truly captured the essence of our 'Henrietta experience'. We hope you choose to come back on any future trips you make to London. Best wishes, Joanna Tutak, Hotel General Manager
