A very comfortable two night stay.

I was in 6014 with a view of the new Google building. The room was standard Hub, small but well thought through. I worked for a while on the little desk and then went out to Covent Garden for dinner.
My sleep was good quality and the shower in the morning was nice and refreshing. The shower leaked onto the bathroom floor. I asked for a new towel bale after using the ones in the room to mop the floor. It was there for me when I got back.
The air con was needed through the night to keep things manageable.
After a second good night I checked out.
It was my second stay here. I’ve also used the Hubs near Whitehall and on St Martins Lane.

First time in a Hub by Premier Inn after using regular Premier Inns for decades.

I often have one night trips in London for concerts and usually just book an easyhotel/Travelodge - whatever is cheapest and within reasonable distance of a tube station.

The Hub, Kings Cross came up at a remarkable £40.50 for a Thursday night stay at the back end of January. I booked a good few months in advance so this probably helped with the bargain price.

Location is excellent. Literally 5 mins walk around the corner from Kings Cross station. A stone's throw from the excellent Kings Place arts venue and you've got all the benefits of being in walking distance of the great new regenerated area around Kings Cross itself. Granary Square and Coal Drops Yard are fantastic and you're right near the Regents Canal towpath so you can have a nice walk/jog to Camden etc.

Check in is 2pm. I arrived about 20 mins early and it was no problem. You can either use the self service check in stations, scanning the q code that you are emailed in your booking confirmation or speak to a person. It's all very quick and easy and the staff are friendly and enthusiastic.

The rooms are lovely. Fairly compact, so probably better for solo/business travellers or a couple/close friends who are used to budget places.

Bed is cosy, linens and towels spotless, bathroom has high end fittings including rain shower, shower gel included. No tea and coffee making facilities in the room but a complimentary bottle of mineral water and 24/7 access to (bean to cup) coffee and tea in the downstairs cafe/bar area which is an excellent touch and something I made good use of as the cafe/bar area is nice and has a good vibe. There is a happy hour with 2 for 1 cocktails which was well promoted at check in and works out as really good value by London standards.

Room is air conditioned and this, along with the lighting, is controlled via a panel in the headboard so you don't need to get out of bed to turn out the light at night. Genius!

There is storage space under the bed for luggage and some hooks on the wall for clothing.

Full length mirror and hairdryer are also in the room.

I got a really good night's sleep, had a fantastic shower and only had a 5 minute walk to catch my train the next morning. What's not to love about this place?!

Didn't have time for breakfast due to an early start but I believe it's only £5 for continental and bearing in mind I spent £4.19 for a grab and go from McDonalds instead (ideal as just down the road), I think the £5 hotel option is a very good price point and I will try it next time.

I've already booked my second Hub stay (this time in the Shoreditch branch for May!) and I'm looking forward to it.

Keep up the good work, guys!

I always come here on my trips to London as the price, location and quality of sleep cannot be beaten.

I didn’t feel my room had been cleaned as well as usual (splash marks on the shower and the door of the bathroom as if it hadn’t been properly cleaned in between guests).

Breakfast was good as always but nobody took my room number so guessing some people enjoyed a free breakfast!

I’ll still come back but hope the hotel doesn’t get too complacent on their cleaning. Staff were super friendly as always.

Very convenient for kings cross and St pancras stations .
Very Cozy Layout . Room is on the smaller side which is to be expected however a lot of thought has gone into this. With a/c , lighting and low level lighting for nighttime toilet visits all accessible from the bed controls . The shower room is a good size with the shower cubicle itself having plenty of room to move .
The bed in our room was up against the wall so you had to climb over your partner to get out . We’re in our 50’s and this was no inconvenience at all. I know that all rooms are not like this as we’ve stayed in a room with access on both sides before.
My only criticisms is that there is a slight lack of privacy in the toilet as the wall is just frosted glass so there’s no sound insulation.
On the subject of sound insulation , the sound isolation from the rest of the hotel was absolutely excellent, from the street it was very good.
The bed was comfortable we both had a good nights sleep which was unusual in itself.
From door to door with a massive suitcase and camera bag it’s 4 minutes 20 seconds to kings cross main line station. To St Pancras international it’s 6 minutes 15 seconds.
I actually prefer the hub layout to the normal Premier Inn .

Usually stop in the Premier Inn a 100 yards closer to Kings Cross Station but chose the Hub as the price for two nights was unbelievable for 2 nights in London.
Arrived at 11:30, Received a great friendly greeting from the team on reception & managed to get an early check-in. One of the ladies on reception asked what we were celebrating (Wife's Birthday)
The room is compact but super clean & comfy, The shower having 2 heads, One wall facing & one overhead, The television at the end of the bed with a selection of free movies added to the experience after a long day in & around the sights of London.
Upon return to our room on day 1 there was a box of chocolates & Birthday card for my wife from the Premier Inn team 👌💕what a nice gesture! Thank You.
The bar prices are really really cheap considering what you can okay down Sarth.
Our first stay in a Hub but definitely not our last.

My partner and I have just spent two nights at our first Premier Inn Hub. We have stayed at many Premier Inns, over the years (Wolverhampton North, Birmingham City Centre & Bristol Haymarket in the last few weeks) but this was our first experience of a Hub. I booked a larger room as we wanted a king size bed instead of a double and it was only a few £ extra.

The Hub has definitely not disappointed. Only a few minutes walk from Kings Cross & St. Pancras stations, it’s ideally located for the local and international traveller. From the moment we arrived, the team here were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We booked breakfasts in advance for only £7 per person per day and these are excellent value. Although the breakfasts are continental menu, there are still bacon, sausage & quorn sausage rolls to eat in addition to the usual continental breakfast items. I recommend the porridge with honey…yum.

The rooms are more than adequate with the most comfortable beds! We discussed the bed with a team member over breakfast and it appears they are the same beds as the ones in regular Premier Inns. However, this one was definitely the most comfortable I’ve slept in in this hotel’s chain. Our room was on the first floor and there was absolutely zero noise or disturbance from outside.

Thank you to everyone at the Hub for making our stay in London that extra special. We will most definitely be back next time we are in London.

I was thrilled with this stay my brother booked for us as he had stayed before they are delightful and just what’s needed. Comfortable modern everything you need in a lovely clean bijou room ... would have loved to have stayed longer and a fabulous breakfast for £7 each - drinks reasonably priced too - staff very inviting and informative- went to an excellent restaurant which I want to return to later in year as it’s been redeveloped and was excellent xxx can’t wait to come again I am working out my next trip already xxxx incidentally I am not a fan of walking so this place is spot on 💜👍🏼💜

We have stayed at the Hub at Kings cross a few times we stayed for 2 nights Friday and sat and paid £85 you cant get better value the hotel is a short walk to the tube and train station they will store your bags for you on arrival and departure which we did take advantage of. The rooms are great small and compact and have been well thought out the staff are all very helpful we needed to borrow a pen for the evening and they found us one. This is the first time we have had breakfast it was £5 all you can eat continental the food was great and very much needed. There is a pret across the road a pizza place nandos and macdonalds very close by so plenty of choice.

Was staying for a weekend away to see 2 gigs. Check in was quick and efficient. The room is brilliant with a waterfall shower and smart amenities such as air conditioning and light controls on the beds headboard. Free WiFi 24/7 is also a plus with good connection speeds. The bar and lounge has a very relaxed vibe and offers great selection of beer wine and spirits along with a 2 for 1 on cocktails between set times. This being my third stay the concistency of the service provided by the staff makes this hotel my go-to when visiting London.

My 2nd visit to this new concept of Premier Inns, cannot fault rooms -have everything need for a couple of nights stay. Everywhere very. Clean and well maintained. The bar/restaurant offers breakfast for £5.00 continental options, fruit, croissant, juice toast and unlimited tea or coffee, porridge is also an option. Coffee available 24 hours as no kettles in room. Shower very good, bed very comfortable and room temp/aircon/lights etc can be operated by the bedside panel. Choice of films through the T.V. A bonus. Rates very good on a Sunday night. Overall a really good choice of accommodation with various locations in central London with friendly helpful staff, able to store luggage before and after checking for a small do . Also stayed in the Godge street one - excellent again.

Yes, The bigger room I had, did have access on both sides, the bed was not pushed up against the wall. Just note, not alot of room / floor space between the end of the bed and the bench table/ TV wall. I also had a huge king bed for my little self. You could work around the lack of floor space problem by unpacking one of the bags and off load items to hang up on the few hangers and tiny wardrobe space and leave some things on the table and then the other person could have the remaining floor space for their bag. But definitey be aware that the rooms are not spacious.
