The Residence Inn Tower Bridge was a lovely surprise. One doesn't normally associate Residence Inn properties with anything remotely high-end, but they definitely created a boutique hotel feel at this location. The front desk staff were fine, check in was quick and easy and as a Marriott Titanium, I was kindly upgraded to a one bedroom suite. The manager left a nice note and goodies as a welcome gift in my room. The room was so comfy and cute! Housekeeping did a wonderful job, as the room and hotel were spotless. I encountered no issues, with the exception of a wonky toilet that was fixed. A strange design feature of the hotel is that the hallways are all open to the outside via these slats, so freezing cold London made the hallways freezing cold; although rooms heated quickly and were lovely. The hotel has a perfectly adequate gym that suited my needs. I didn't use any other facilities while I was there. The property's location is right on Bermondsey, with loads of eateries and pubs immediately in the area. Tower Bridge is an easy 15 - 20 minute walk from the hotel. Check out was quick and easy; although I never received credit for my stay in my Marriott account and I had to go through Marriott to get it resolved. I really loved this charming property and would absolutely stay again.

A friend and I decided to ring in 2023 with a London-Paris combo tour. We booked a bit last minute, so while I generally prefer boutique hotels, we opted for the Residence Inn London Tower Bridge. I'm glad we did. The location was a tad far from our tours and attractions, but the layout of the room made up for it. I appreciated the separate living room space and kitchenette. The decor was tasteful and the bed was comfortable. I was also pleased to find a cute spot to film my OOTD. The hotel had a classic Marriott breakfast, which was fine. The breakfast area got crowded quickly, so we learned to get down there promptly. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful.

We arrived here New Year’s Day. Lovely welcome on arrival. Unusual place with the upstairs open to outside. It was rainy and we could hear the rain but it added to the ambiance of the place. Rooms were lovely and comfortable. Great breakfast with wonderful staff. Best thing about the hotel is the location. Easy to get to the train or tube to get to other places and we loved the walk along the streets to it. It was also nice it was tucked away. Will definitely stay here again.

Wow! What great value for money. Rooms are so fancy, more than enough room for two people. People working here are super nice, always clean and lovely smell. The food and breakfasts provided here are prefect too. Amazing cocktails :) Near plenty of bus stops and underground stations. I will definitely be going here whenever I go to London, from now onwards! Best Guy in the hotel is Ramees. He help me keeping my luggage in storage for 12 days with a locker. What a lovely guy. He is just absolutely best guy in your hotel. I was going to Europe trip and coming back after 12 days. But he helped me so much in that and solved my biggest problem . I am blessed that I booked this property. Thank you so so much Ramees.

Titanium member. On arrival no welcome , had to request my welcome amenity (wasn’t given an option of the lucky dip box despite a letter stating otherwise). No room upgrade. Only 1 lift operational Washing machines and dryers were dirty and in need of a clean. One morning both lifts were out of service which meant having to walk up and down 5 flights of stairs. Breakfast was dismal and many items not restocked. Emailed manager of the property and they couldn’t be bothered to reply back. Have stayed at other residence inn properties before and this one falls way short. I usually love my residence in stays, this wasn’t worth the money and the lack of attention the manager provides is evidenced throughout the property unfortunately

Nothing bad to say about this hotel. We arrived earlier than expected and our room was available to check in. Lovely clean room. Staff are very friendly and helpful, they even reserved us a locker to leave our bags on the day of check out. Breakfast was very nice & huge variety. Would definitely stay here again!

The location was good which was one of few positives. The rooms were small, the bathroom tiny, but as a Residence Inn it had all the facilities needed, a positive , a positive. The staff varied, with some had no clue about the Marriott Bonvoy and its implications. There is a free breakfast, sort o okay. No late check-out as the cleaning staff leave early. Overall disappointing, but convenient location and lower cost than most others in London. You pay for what you get.

We stayed in a one bhk suite for 5 nights, room 208 (3 adults). The room size is pretty tiny with hardly any space to move and with luggage it's even worse. Same with the bathroom, its tiny. We had stayed at Residence Inn at Manchester abd the room was much bigger and better. But I guess that's how it would be in London. It's located about 10mins from London bridge tube and in a good area for eateries and pubs. One can walk to London and Tower bridge and Borough market. So it's a good safe location. Breakfast spread had a lot of variety and the staff is friendly. They were considerate to allow us some more time for checkout when we were running late on the last day. However, there were some issues which I need to highlight: 1. There was a complimentary gift which we were not informed about in the 5 days. I happened to see it at checkout (it's a gift card kept in a box on the reception desk) and I got 200 points but the lady at the desk informed us that it has to be done only at checkin or during our stay and not at checkout. Unfortunately nobody informed us at checkin. 2. Service is poor - we had a foul smell in the bathroom on the first day and we asked for room freshner which noone got or bothered to check afterwards. They say they have a daily basic complimentary cleaning service which was not done for us - only the dustbin was emptied, no vacuuming, cleaning if bathroom, or refill of essentials like tea, toilet paper. We informed the reception and there was a refill done but room was not cleaned. Please note that it's only after 3 days (on the 4th day) that cleaning is done and bedsheets/towels are changed. That's the only reason I have taken off one star. Overall, we were out most of the days so it didn't really matter much. I just wished basic cleaning had been done.
