Neighbourhood
Southwark
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighbourhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.

Just finished my second week at South Point Suites and I'm very happy indeed. The place is clean and tidy, the staff always friendly and helpful. The rooms themselves have all you need; I'm staying with my partner and we have enough space in the One bedroom Suite to not get in

I can't recommend this place highly enough. Spotlessly clean, comfy beds, great location, staff friendly and helpful. Overall a lovely spacious apartment and fantastic value for money. If you stay I recommend you try Jose tapas nearby - you will not regret it

Wonderful staff. They don't clean rooms on weekends, but they let you know that they will upon request, so previous complainers either don't listen or read. (There, I said it because the hotel can't) It was very clear. Room was spacious and very clean. It had a boutique feel.

We stayed three nights here and really loved it. In a quiet spot but very good located with restaurants close by. Felt very quiet and cozy with nice staff. Could have used a few more cheese varieties and nicer ham at breakfast tho.

Hi Adametro, Thanks for your enquiry! All our suites are open plan, however the layout is different from one suite to another. As Luis M mentioned above, the studio suite has the bedroom and the lounge in the same area, whereas the one bedroom suite has the bedroom area in one side and the lounge and kitchen area on the other side, but still there are no doors to separate them. In addition to this, the one bedroom suite has a couch in the lounge area, while the studio doesn't have this facility. Should you need further information please let us know! Kind regards, George

They range from Studio apartments to 1 Bedroom, Twin and 2 Bedrooms apartments. Also connected rooms are available between a DDA and carer room which are available to public in general as the accessories are all detachable. There's a self-service Launderette, washing and drying equipment next to the fully equipped Gym and basement level.

"Go for a one bedroom suite if you can push to it. More space and separate living area from bedroom."
"All rooms face to an inner courtyard, so you will not have to put up with noise."
"We stayed on the first floor in an accessible suite"
"Suites are better as they have a separate bedroom"
"Rooms 222, 322 and 422 are at the end of the corridor which minimises noise from other guests and the orientation of these rooms is better."
