I stayed here for one night as part of a birthday celebration. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are spacious and it is very near to Tower Bridge. If you are travelling to london and want to be near the Tower of London this hotel would be perfect.

I booked this hotel through Red Letter days (a gift from work) for a one night stay on my boyfriends birthday. I cannot fault the hotel itself in terms of cleanliness, location and decoration. However, whilst the staff were efficient I didn't find them particularly friendly. My main complaint though relates to the wedding reception going on 3 floors below...

Booked the Lucy suite as a birthday treat for my partner and was not disappointed - staff at reception, restaurant and bar all very helpful and friendly. The terrace and hot tub were clean and private enough but did think that being asked for £100 deposit for the electric candles a bit of a cheek as the rate is not...

We stayed here for 1 night and could not fault a thing. The location was fantastic, a 10 minute walk to Tower Bridge and 15 minute walk to tube. The hotel was clean and contemporary. Our room was on the 5th floor and looked over the sqaure. As it was a sunny weekend everyone was sitting in the square, making...

Is a fantastic trendy hotel near of the tower bridge, the neighborhood is calm but the Belmonsey square has 1 lounge and a terrace bar. The hoyel is amazing: a mix of trendy, colorful and comfortable without the ecofriendly and lovely amenities. The bed was so good that we became sleep for 2 hours in the power snap!

Very quiet room due to perhaps very good sound-proofing with the quietest air conditioning system I have ever acquainted. The very clever interior deisgn makes the not so big room spacious. The bed is really comfortable and the desk attached in the back is highly functional. The lazy sunday offer (big discount if you stay on sundays + a day...

The hotel is well located if you want to be in a quiet part of London, around Tower and London bridges. The service was great: staff was really helpful, friendly and comprehensive. Not overpriced, great view on The Shard, Big Ben, London Eye.. And the rooms are pretty cool too!

After reading the reviews had high expectations of the hotel, The room design is different and very clever, and the bathroom very high spec. Some of the details are being missed - light bulb out, pictures not straight, carpet fraying and out of gripper - small points but just might show it could easily deterioate. We booked 4 rooms, our...

It might be a bit tucked away from the capital's main thoroughfares but the Bermondsey Square is well worth seeking out. We were lucky to be upgraded to the Ruby suite which was absolutely stunning and featured striking Rolling Stones photographs, a beautiful bathroom Apple TV, and amazingly comfy bed. The staff were friendly and helpful and although we didn't...

Staying in Southwark

Neighbourhood Profile
Southwark
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighbourhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.
