Thank you Marlin Aldgate Tower Bridge. I have now received my refund. It has taken some time, but understandable in the situation we are now. So for sure we will book there again when London opens up.

The company claims to offer free cancelation. But when you cancel then you just have to keep chasing them for refund... I have not been able to receive my refund for over 45 days even after free cancelation. Whats worse is that you can't reach the company contact center and they won't reply to your emails.

Dear gchaudhry, Greetings of the day & thank you for sharing your feedback. I would like to commence with an apology for any inconvenience caused by our delay in administrative practice. Our primary motive throughout the global pandemic is to safeguard our guests and colleagues alike. We have adapted, similar to almost every business around the world, to having reduced personnel & remote working spaces as a new norm. The adaption process has taken us longer than anticipated and I can only apologise once again. I'm pleased to report that our Finance team are now back on track and you should receive the refund in the coming days. However, I do fully appreciate that a delay of this length is disappointing and for that I do apologise. I am surprised to hear that you have had difficulty in contacting our team. Should you have any further difficulty, please do not hesitate to contact me directly at jamie.trousdale@marlin.com. Kind Regards Jamie Trousdale Group Guest Experience Manager

We have booked this hotel for the whole family, but due to the early close down in Norway because of the pandemic, we had to cancel the room. It was prepaid, but open for cancellations up to 72 hours before arrival. It has now been almost 3 weeks since the cancellation, but we have not received any refund and they do not answer the mail I have sent. So be careful and do not transfer any money.

Dear Sir/Madame, Thank you for sharing your feedback. It is most disappointing to learn that you have had such a poor experience thus far. I'm sure you can appreciate that every business around the globe has become reactive to the ever changing climate. Our intention is to maintain 'as normal as possible' standards throughout the unprecedented times. As we learn to adapt operationally, I would like to apologise for any delays in our administrative practices. Please be assured that we will, of course, process any agreed refund that is permitted. Regretfully, I can't trace your individual case but if you would like an update, please do contact me directly at jamie.trousdale@marlin.com. Until such times where we can welcome you back, keep safe. Kind Regards Jamie

While the rooms are nice, spacious and really combine everything you might need during your stay, there are some unexpected twists along the way. One of which was really unexpected, as upon arrival the hotel charged around 900 pounds because the stay was booked by an agency and therefore I could not show the card that was used.

Dear Mr. Woke, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on Tripadvisor. I'm pleased to hear that you found the apartment to be comfortable & convenient. Please allow me to apologise for any inconvenience caused by the process followed on arrival. We require the same credit card used to make the reservation to be presented on arrival to ensure all credit card transactions are as safe as possible. Evidently this could have been communicated more effectively prior to your arrival. Our intention was certainly not to cause any disappointment. Please be assured that we have taken on board your comments & appreciate you taking the time to write. We hope to welcome you back in the future. Kind Regards Jamie
