A lovely place to stay that won’t break the bank in London. Very welcoming owners, nothing is too much trouble.
The rooms are small but perfect and there’s a lovely outside space and a spotless shared kitchen area.
Shops and bus routes are a short stroll away, making this a great location to explore London.
If you’ve traveled by car there are plenty of spaces outside the door to park, you can purchase parking permits from the owners at a very reasonable £10 per night.
You also get a 15% discount at a local cafe for breakfast and the food there is excellent.

We spent a lovely day here with our 5 children. Tony provided the most helpful and proactive service I’ve ever received at a hotel. He recognized as we were booking that we would need multiple vehicles to bring our large party from the airport. He arranged for a car service to pick us up and personally helped move our 14 bags into the room.
The car service Tony uses is also top notch. Alan recognized the kids needed some breakfast after the long flight, made the recommendation, and took us to get a bite to eat before heading to the hotel. It made things go much smoother.
Tony went out of his way to ensure our rooms were perfectly set up for our group. He knew what we needed before we did.
When it was time to move to our airbnb just down the road, Tony used his personal vehicle to help us deliver our luggage.
He also provided several very helpful suggestions on where to go for shopping and food, even emailing us specific links.
The house was very cute and had some nice common areas. The location is great, so close to many shops and cafes. I would absolutely stay here again.

This family run hotel not only greatly benefits from both a lovely outdoor area with a relaxing outdoor water feature and mood lighting at night, but also enjoys a well equipped kitchen/conservatory extension with microwave, crockery etc.
However, although the variety of types of accommodations are secure, comfortable and easily accessible from Clapham Junction Railway Station and other forms of the London transport system, it is the family who make this establishment particularly desirable. They go out of their way to make their guests stays as relaxing as possible and, surprisingly, the price of the rooms is very reasonable given the facilities on offer. Although the guest house does not offer breakfast, it has an agreeable arrangement with a nearby cafe where a 15% reduction is available to those who stay in the Battersea premises.

Our room was pretty small, but comfortable, well maintained, and impeccably clean. Access to public transport was convenient, and the neighborhood is full of great little restaurants and shops. The hosts are very helpful, and happy to share tips about the city. If steps to the second or tnird floors are an isssue, be sure to ask for a lower level room. Would happily stay again!

I already stayed at the Lavender guest House several times and I will definitively come back! It's a nice, very clean family-run place with reasonable prices in a good location next to Clapham Junction railway station from where you can easily go to London and other destinations. Last time I stayed in room number 3 which has its own little bathroom and even a little balcony. In the lovely garden there is a veranda where you can eat/ warm and store food. The Lavender Guest House does not serve breakfast, but offers a discount at a nearby café. There are also some other nice little restaurants nearby. The Family who runs the place is very helpful and nice.

The room we stayed at, #4, was very spacious, clean, and had its own bathroom. The location was excellent near a lot of restaurants and stores as well as public transportation to take you anywhere in London. Tony & his staff were incredibly helpful, kind, and welcoming. We recommend for a budget friendly stay in London.

We have stayed for a week and we have been very satisfied with the choice. We feltl at home. Tony and Lisa have been attentive to making us feel comfortable and always willing to help. It is a success to have the kitchen in the garden that we have used almost daily: either for breakfast or dinner. Without a doubt, I would repeat it and of course I will recommend it to anyone who goes to London. It is very well located both to go by train or bus.
