We stayed at Inhabit a few days ago, for a 2 night break in London. The hotel is in Bayswater, which is a pleasant and safe area, a few minutes walk to Hyde Park and within a few minutes walk to either Paddington or Lancaster Gate for easy access into central London. The hotel has a nice laid back vibe, very much a boutique open plan and minimalist style. The bedroom was a bit small, despite an upgrade, but pleasant in a Japanese themed layout with sliding doors into a good bathroom with a walk-in shower. The restaurant was operated by a separate company, but offered a fantastic selection of breakfasts, which were really exceptional. The restaurant outlet was managed by Anna, who was extremely professional and totally customer focused: friendly, helpful and attentive..... 5 Stars to Anna!!! The only let down for us was the gym, it was in a very small area, with sufficient room (just!) for 2 people, so it had it to be booked well in advance, there was only a running machine and static bike (which didn't work), and free weights. So if you need a decent gym during your stay, this really isn't the place for you. Otherwise, go-ahead and book, it's a decent hotel, with a lovely vibe in a nice area to explore London.

First Thoughts - Cosy, Minimal, Clean, Scandinavian, Nice flooring

The décor is very Scandinavian and attractive with everything you need but not in your face. Squeezing in a mid-length mirror behind the door and a wall mounted tv cupboard which you can close if you are sick of staring at the TV. The gorgeous wood flooring really compliments the room compared to the usual carpet. There is no cupboard for extra storage but there are hooks and a metal pole with hangers which I really liked. It’s definitely small but if you are travelling solo it is perfect, if travelling as a pair then this might be a little bit of a nuisance having to shuffle past each other if someone is standing around the bed but there’s also the option of the larger twin room.

Large tall windows let plenty of sunlight through in the morning making it lovely to wake up to. It also provides a great view of the street as well as the apartments opposite (People watchers will have a great time but this is not encouraged). Cars can be a little noisy when driving past but surprisingly hardly any cars drive past so it’s extremely quiet.

For breakfast I had the salmon, toast and eggs with tea for £20 which was ok, its mostly a vegan menu.
Staff are nice but I had very limited interaction other than checking in. Cafe staff were very polite with excellent service.

Bed & Toilet
Bed is firm yet comfortable which is great for your back, 4 pillows make it even more comfortable. The toilet is small and sink is a little too small, be ready to bend down a bit lower if you’re tall. Shower has a good water pressure and decent space.

Thermostat & Noise
Ranges from 16 to 32 degrees and is quiet even with the fan on low. The usual pipe noises from other guests using water and chatter from people walking past but nothing will keep you up at night.

Pro's
10 min walk from nearest tube station, décor is great, quiet and cosy, will definitely stay here again.

Con's
Sink is a little small

Wow! I was so impressed with this hotel, an absolute gem of a find!

We stayed for one night at the hotel which is located in a really safe beautiful neighbourhood which is also 15 minute walk from Notting Hill, 20 minute walk from Marylebone too.

The interior was definitely giving ikea vibes, very Scandinavian, simplistic and aesthetically pleasing - Beautiful!

The gentleman who checked us in was lovely and helpful, also give us a free upgrade which was a great surprise! We was also able to check in at 11 with our room already being ready so another bonus.

The rooms were also beautiful, spacious. Fitted with lots of storage space, a oil diffuser and lovely smelling soaps and body lotion. A yummy Easter lollipop was left for us too. There was no issues with noise and the rooms had great blackout blinds!

The hotel has a bar/restaurant area called Yeotown which is located in reception. I’d highly recommend booking in your breakfast for the morning if you did want to eat there because luckily we managed to get a table but they were super busy. The food was delicious, and perfect for anyone gluten, dairy and nut free with options for all. The only negative I did have was the food was expensive. We paid £45 for 2 hot drinks and a scrambled egg dish each. But the staff were so attentive for how busy they were and doing their very best. We was served by a lovely young man who couldn’t do enough for us.

Overall - I’d 100% keep coming back to this hotel for my stays in London, perfect location, affordable and beautiful accommodation!

If you go to London, I would NOT recommend this hotel. First of all, the photos make it look nicer than it is. It said it was a 4 star hotel, but it's really more like a 3 star one. The room they first put us in was super small, and we asked if we could upgrade (because on the website, it said to ask, and if they had a room, they would do it). They did move us to a basement room with a view of construction. The heater also didn't work in that room, and when we contacted them, they said they would fix it but never did. But I would never have written this review over that room situation. Instead, I had originally chosen the hotel because it had a "plant-based" restaurant on site that served breakfasts. However, breakfast would take forever, and it had a lot of non-plant based options, including eggs, meat and salmon. One day our breakfast had a jagged cherry tomato stem in a scramble that my husband choked on. He had to leave the hotel and cough it up outside. When he showed the tomato stem to the manager/server, he said, "oh you shouldn't have eaten that!" We said yeah we know. It shouldn't have been in the scramble, hiding in the spinach. No one apologized or even comped our breakfast. We never had breakfast again at the hotel, even though we paid extra for the daily breakfast. The front desk person said she'd let the manager know, but the manager never contacted us. When we asked about it, they said, oh she must've called but you weren't in the room. First of all, we were on vacation. Were we supposed to sit in the room all day waiting for the manager to contact us? Also, I don't think they tried very hard because there was a day where I was sick and stayed in the room the entire day and night. I was very disappointed, as this was our 10 year anniversary trip. We had sent a note ahead of time, and there wasn't even a mention of it. Luckily, when we went to Paris, our hotel there was a completely different story. They really made us feel special. This hotel in London was a terrible disappointment, and I'm still angry that my husband could've had something really seriously bad happen, while choking on that jagged tomato stem.

This new boutique hotel 5-8mins walk to Paddington train station was a lovely place to stay during our 4 day visit to London. Very compact, very clean lines to its design makes this hotel a picture of calm serenity when you enter it. The rooms are efficiently cleaned while mindful of the environment. Free drinkable water and coffee points at every level is a great bonus to all guests. The bakery & cafe at the lobby is a welcoming sight especially with its heavenly smell of baked croissants and cakes! Staff here are multi nationals and speak fluent English. Check in staff were clear, kind and very welcoming providing us a room a little earlier than our check-in time. We greatly appreciated that especially after a 14hour flight! Will definitely book again.

Omg I can't say enough good things about this hotel. I met Tatiana who was so sweet and told me all of the amentities of the hotel and booked me for yoga, the salt room, and the infared sauna the first day. She was so sweet and gave me tips on good vegan food to eat and recommended the avocado toast at the hotel which was so tasty! Seriously it was the best latte I had in all of London-no joke. All of the staff went out of their way to make my experience very homey. I felt like I was at home but had friends. They also have a little lounge area where I got some work done. Tea, coffee, and filtered water on every floor! They are very eco-friendly so I got water in my room with glasses. The shower was the best shower I'ver ever had because you can tell the water softener they put in is top of the line. Everything is brand new and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. I now want an apartment that looks like this. This is the only hotel I will stay in when I come back to visit. It's about a 7-8 minute walk to the nearest tube and bus station. There are cute cafes not too far that are great and Hyde Park which is definitely something to see. I love this place and already miss it! Thank you to the entire staff for making me feel so welcome on my first trip internationally alone as a female.

We arrived and the staff were friendly and helpful. When we arrived into the first room it was a smaller than expected, with an average view. We asked for an upgrade in which case they said the upgrade will cost the same amount as the room we booked, in which case we declined.

The following morning we requested for our towels and bedding to be replenished, in which case this did not occur. In this case we were not best pleased, however spasi rectified the issue promptly and was very helpful. He was able to upgrade our room due to the inconvenience.

Overall it was a pleasant stay, however I would definitely book a larger room for future stays.

Overall a really lovely hotel, clearly very recently decorated and our room was clean and finished to a high standard.
The staff were all very polite and helpful, we were given a free upgrade to a king size room due to it being our honeymoon.
The hotel is ideally located for Paddington and Hyde Park and you can access 3 underground stations within 10 minute walk.
The only downside to our stay is the restaurant is now vegan /meat free only and we weren’t aware of this until check in, we had pre paid for a full English but this wasn’t available and some items on the menu had a surcharge too.
The bathroom (room 010) also had an issue with drainage and flooded every time we used the shower, we did request housekeeping mop the bathroom but they didn’t visit our room at all.

The Hotel is really clean. A very nice atmosphere with nice staff.
The room on the lower floor was very quiet and could easily be darkened.
Very good AC and modern windows, which help a lot with noise blocking and keeping the warmth in / the cold out. Waterstations on each level allow to refill the water bottle.
We will come back.
