What a great location and we enjoyed the best table with a view over the Thames to Big Ben. The service was polite, but very slow. The drinks arrived from another part of the hotel which made the service even slower. The afternoon tea arrived on one platter. The sushi was exceptionally good, all freshly prepared with fresh wasabi. Truly...

This hotel offers great location , easy access to the underground, superbe atmosphere - Gym is ok but a bit old machines and Great pool. Shame that the hotel doesn't have a really good restaurant. Joel brasserie is ok but nothing great and the sushi restaurant ok but could be doing a bit more fusion

Stayed here for one night as an anniversary present with my boyfriend. Location is perfect, right at the end of Westminster bridge, next to south bank and a 5 minute walk from the station. On arrival, we was stopped at the door by security whilst everyone were allowed through with no problem. I would hate to say that this was...

Another wonderful stay with my young family. Lucky enough to be upgraded to a suite (from studio) with amazing views of Westminster. Staff all very good. Good breakfast spread (but not exceptional) and lovely swimming pool for fun with the kids. Location of the hotel couldn't really be better. Lighting system in the rooms continues to frustrate me! With kids...

Staying in Southbank

Neighbourhood Profile
Southbank
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
