Good location, be weary of the number of staircases to the rooms.

Could have been better organised when it comes to structuring the rooms in the hotel. There were several flights of stairs that had to be taken with our luggage after using the lift and the room windows were facing a brick wall.

Great location, lovely staff and good for business trip

The hotel staff were very helpful and war. The location is great - just 6 minutes from Holborn underground station, which opened up London. Great for buisness trip with easy access to all West end shows and restaurants.

Wonderful hotel and wonderful value. We stayed here when going to see 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child'. Excellent location, comfortable room, fluffy towels, dressing gowns and slippers, excellent hairdryer, toiletries and good wifi. All the staff were warm and friendly. The breakfast was plentiful with a good choice and amazing scrambled ages. Have already booked a return visit to another Thistle hotel.…

Overall Great!

Great hotel, spacious room, comfortable bed, fantastic shower and great bath facilities. Superb location, excellent service, clean, well appointed room and hotel. Loved dining at Kingsley Bar - great food! I’m staying here whenever in London.

location is great

great location, near to all city attractions, value for money and safe. I would certainly recommend this hotel if you wish to stay near the city. the only setback is that the room is NOT sound proof and thus, we can hear our next door neighbour when they open or close the door.

Hi, I noticed in the reviews that the lifts can be quite unreliable, is that still an issue as of recently? Also does it require a keycard? Thanks

We stayed for one night last month and had no problems with the interio lifts. There are stairs from the street though. That wasn't a problem for us but I don't know if there is another way to access. Key card was not required for lifts. Loved the hotel.

Hello- can you tell me if the rooms are fitted with adaptor outlets or USB plugs for charging USA electric items? Do you provide hair dryers? Is there a self serve laundry onsite? Are you offering a breakfast menu ala carte instead of the buffet? Thanks !

For the adaptors just ask the personnels at the lobby and they will give you what you need, if needed, with a smile on their faces. There is no USB plugs. They provide a good hairdryers, no need to carry one with you. No self serve laundry. For the breakfast you can choose à la carte or the buffet. It is up to you
