Lovely stay here for a special night away. It is beautiful - old style glamour with lovely service from all staff who are friendly. The restaurant is a lovely room and there are nice areas for coffee. Bar also super.
I do believe that any food lover should once in life experience what The Ritz is offering. I went with a friend, make sure you book a table in advance. There is a dress code, male can not entrance the restaurant without a tie. We...More

Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII, the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier destination for high end craft and bespoke design. Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the establishment) seen in shop front windows, even during a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s Park. With the brightly lit and constantly buzzing
junction of Piccadilly Circus at its northeast corner and none of Central London too far away, this is an surprisingly central and accessible part of town, especially given its prosperous demeanor.

We had the Ritz pick us up from the airport. Charge was added to our bill. If I remember correctly, it was 140 Pounds. The other answers are spot on. The Ritz can tell you about limo rentals and the Doorman is always there with the correct information. Enjoy your birthday celebration at a great hotel and a great town.

You answered your own question really, smart dress for your son ,I had sport jacket and tie ,jacket mustn't be removed during tea ,I did ask it was very warm even in January, I wouldn't risk the lady in jeans could be embarrassing if she wasn't allowed in , we stayed over but 8 years ago we just went for tea and was early and asked if we would like a drink, we did and it was £19 ,so be prepared, they don't mind you just waiting as we did this time , if it's for a birthday you can ask the waiter and they can get a small cake and play happy birthday on the piano.
