If you get the right price these apartments offer great accommodation at a sensible price. Apartments are all circa 5 years old and well furnished and equipped with all the basics - Tea, Coffee and WIFI.

I stayed at Portland brown apartments for 6 months. Although there were minor issues, it was catered to immediately after I emailed the concern. The service was v impressive. I didn't face any issues or didn't have any concerns at all. Loved it and would love to stay there, when I visit in future. Mariam

Me and my family have stayed with PB for over 8 months and it went from bad to worse; and if I were to mention all the reasons for saying this I would need a few hours of writing, however to mention a few: -PB staff entering the apartment without knocking - TWICE and in order to avoid such situations...

I stayed here for 4 weeks during job training in London. First of all I'd like to mention the good things about this place. I know that there are numerous places but mine was close to the Barbican station, Shoreditch could be easily reached by foot. The location was really great, with lots of shopping and dining option nearby. Also...

The apartments were clean, well serviced, we had everything we needed. Cleaning was done twice a week, the level of comfort was high and it was perfect for a two weeks stay. The apartments are located close to Barbican station, the staff was kind and prompt. I had a wonderful time in London and I am happy that I could...

I typically browse reviews rather than leaving one myself, but after reading Carl's review, I felt it was only right to share my experience. I stayed in a Lamb's Passage serviced apartment for 3 months. The location is good - a 15-20 minute walk to Angel, a short walk to Old Street, an even shorter walk to the Tube (Moorgate...

It does not get any worse than this. A constant fish smell in the room which I could not find the source of. I can only assume this is how all their apartments smell. I complained to their customer service department who informed me that the apartments are cleaned regularly. I asked what can be done about the fish smell...

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
