Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great location for Leicester Square theatre, around 20 minute walk and around 10 minute walk from Oxford Street. Booked for one night for a theatre show. Fantastic service. Help yourself to hot drinks. Room was spotless and looked like it was very recently refurbished. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast is included and comprised of fresh juice, cereals and an English cooked breakfast with choice of hot drinks. Cooked to order so not cold like a buffet breakfast. Overall a great location, great clean room, great breakfast and a great service. Will definitely stay again when in central London.

The cleanliness, the service and above all the staff! Cleanliness 10 out of 10! Top location, one of the best museums in the world is just around the corner from the hotel. For history fans who want to do the museum over several days, this is the perfect hotel. In addition, the neighborhood was calm and there is everything you need around the hotel: shops, restaurants and the underground. What I will remember most is the staff. They were wonderful, very attentive and very kind ! Thank you again !

Friendly, warm, welcoming hotel in an excellent location. The room was cosy and comfortable, the breakfast was great and the staff were absolutely lovely. For under £100 a night I think this is amazing.

Conveniently located in the pleasant area of Fitzrovia, clean, comfortable, and friendly staff. On the downside, there was a bit too much light pollution in my room for sleeping, and I could hear the doorbell. Weather stripping on the door would have helped a lot. All in all, however, it's a good value and I would recommend it.

A real gem located within walking distance of Oxford Street, London Palladium and UCL. Tiny but spotless and comfortable single room with an en-suite. Literally everything you need in a compact space. The included breakfast was delicious too - full English freshly cooked with toast, cereals, juice and coffee/tea. Staff were so friendly and helpful. An absolute joy to stay here rather than in a premier inn (more expensive!) or get a single room in an upmarket hostel (also would be more expensive and definitely not as nice!). Now off to explore the shopping streets of London…I’ll be back 😉

Hotel is basic but clean. The rooms were small but functional and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast was good but not given a choice of white or brown toast, it was all brown! No kettle in room but free vending machine in lounge. We were on the top floor and had to climb 59 stairs so not good if you have limited mobility! A short walk from the tube and Oxford Street. We were at the back of the hotel so very quiet.

The staff made this hotel, a five-star experience for us. I probably would’ve rated the hotel four. You have to deal with some steps, and European rooms are generally smaller than what we are used to. But the staff was just fabulous. Helped us in every way. Allowed us to keep our bags there a couple of days while we went to a wedding. Then because we had three people for half the time and two people for the rest of the time… we had two separate rooms booked. However, they allowed us to just stay in the first room so we didn’t have to move our bags. The breakfast was good, especially once you realize you can get hot porridge, and you can have the eggs cooked however you want. It is not Buffet. They serve you at the table. And they were so kind and helpful. I would recommend this little hotel to anyone. We liked the location also. And I will feature it on my Travel website. Thanks again!

Lovely hotel that is clean and tidy. Everything we needed for a trip to London. The hotel is in an ideal location - its away from the hustle and bustle but still close by to main attractions and public transport
