0.25km from British Museum & London Underground subway stops; i don't think you can get better value in a city as expensive as London; google hotel name for their website; the positive reviews this hotel receives are quite justified pros; good location; inexpensive, especially for London; i paid 39pounds including breakfast and tax for single; i reserved without attached bath...

This hotel is in an excellent location and close to all major London attractions. Extremely good for families. We stayed there with 3 children and had 2 rooms between us. The rooms, although a little dated, were very clean and tidy. Only downside, our room did not have an en-suite which meant a treck down the hall way first thing...

I almost don't want to give a glowing review but this hotel deserves a lot of praise for their clean rooms, friendly staff, and cental location. I have been to London many times and I believe I have now found my home away from home. Finding a clean and safe hotel can sometimes be a hit or miss affair but...

I chose the Ridgemount Hotel for a couple of reasons. It was around the corner from the offices I was visiting, it was reasonably priced and it was close to Euston Station. I has also read the reviews on trip advisor and of all the hotels I looked at it got the most positive reviews. The staff were all very...

Ridgemount offers excellent value in a location that's pretty good for a museums and movies fan such as me. Free internet access in the lounge was useful too, but with the one PC not always available. A nice little walk from Euston too and I enjoyed (probably too much) the friendly pubs around Shaftesbury Avenue. Staff were friendly and room...

Just Return a week ago from London. Ridgemount Hotel is with excellent location, only 15mins walk from theater distric. It also very close to the tube station. Hotel staff is very helpful. The room is a bit small and I think it's a norm in London with mid range level.

The Hotel is in a good location. Was a 15/20 minute walk to the Thames through the Theater District. Plenty of good restaurants/bars only 5-10 minutes away. Staff very friendly. We had a room on the 4th floor, but the guy at Reception helped to carry our luggage. The shared bathroom was just outside our door which was convenient. The...

How did they do it?? Charming, neat, clean...

I have stayed at the Ridgemount Hotel several times the lats 2 years while going for a treatment for cancer from a Chinese doctor in London. It is always like coming home to my own family when I arrive at the hotel. All the staff is very friendly and willing to help in any way. I love them all and...

Very clean hotel. The location is great, you can walk to many destinations and there is also a tube station very near (goodge street). Breakfast is excellent and abundant. Within reasonable walking distance you can reach the centre of London nightlife with its theatre and restaurants (Soho, Covent Garden, Leicester Square). We stayed for four nights in an ensuite triple...

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
