The hotel was excellent. Smaller boutique style. Stayed here as the Carlton Tower was still being renovated. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Only downside was that the bar had no draught beer available which for a Friday was a pretty poor show.
As always this hotel punches well above its weight. Room upgrades have started to have an impact on overall quality of our stays and the restaurant service is getting much better. Looking forward to the New Sunday lunch option. Sitting outside is always a pleasure and staff are very attentive.…
The overall experience was very poor. From the check in to the Air con not working to no turn down service in the evening. The room was very cramped up. The dustbin in the bathroom was useless and doesn’t open by pressing the lever because of light weight.
Great location, good hotel but, £600 a night? No not at all. It’s the details that matter in a boutique hotel and this is missing here. Staff are ok but not like their Dubai branch, the lifts are slow which is ok, but you can see scratch marks everywhere. Room is lovely and size for the area is generous but, this is not Jumeriah standards and the hotel desperately needs a refurb if you’re going to charge that amount…
It is like coming home, the staff are always ready to help, they make a point of knowing what you like and including it. A very little thing but important, I always love tea in my room so they make sure the kettle is there (filled can you believe) and provide extra tea bags
