This is my third stay at The Connaught Hotel in the last three years, and each time continues to impress. I can be a very picky, detail oriented, demanding woman. Not an easy guest, to say the least. However, The Connaught's wonderful team - from Clement Fabiana Reception Suprvisor at the front desk, to the concierges Andrew and Corrado, to...

The location is perfect, right by Mount Street, definitely one of the most charming streets in London. Close to Bond Street if you want to go shopping, or alternatively, not far from Oxford street (more to the North). I recommend this hotel and strongly advise you to try the cocktails at the bar... Great meeting place. Business friendly, but also...

My husband and I stayed at the Connaught in March 2012. The room was gorgeous, the bar was fun and the restaurant was out of this world! The location was spot on, being a short and easy walk to all the shopping you could want. We ate at Helene Darroze on one of our nights at the hotel and both...

My 2 daughters and I stayed in The Connaught for a weekend starting 20/04/2012. From the moment we stepped out of the taxi to the time we left, the attention we received was the best I have ever experienced. The food was excellent and our room was beautiful. Having stayed in The Dorchester on our last trip to London (another...

It must be pointed out that I did not actually stay in the hotel but my father and brother were. As a result I did end up spending a lot of time at the hotel and was there right from the check in. The level of personalized service was excellent. My father has now decided that he will not stay...

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
