I rarely write reviews, but I must say my experience at The Halkin left a hugely positive impression. The rooms are top notch, the location is great, the service and food were terrific. But what made the biggest impression was the quality, helpfulness, and general friendliness of the staff--it was truly a delight to stay there. Expensive, yes, but very...

I stayed at THE HALKIN with my wife last September 2010 for eight days to celebrate my birthday and I aprecciated very much this boutique hotel. Front desk, concierge and housekeeping were just perfect. Everything you need offered in a top level just like a five star boutique hotel should be. The suite was very charming and nicely decorated, very...

Stayed at the Halkin for a night in a Deluxe Room. Probably one of the greatest rooms I ever slept in, even comparing it to suites of more than 1000 sqft. This one was around 450 sq ft and that's the perfect size for a solo traveler or even a couple. Loved the bathroom with the deep bathtub that takes...

My girlfriend and I have decided to spend a night in hotel to celebrate a special event. We have never had such a great experience in a hotel. Wonderful and helpful staff, great service, divine thai food. The cocktail I had, 'Nahm Godfather', was just perfect. Our Superior Double room really exceeded my expectation. We really see the Halkin as...

This hotel was designed by Armani and is located in Belgravia, very close to Hyde Park Corner, and Embassy Row, so transport (taxi or Tube) is no issue. It's around the corner from Buck House, should you have an invite for tea with Her Majesty. It's also perhaps 10 minutes walk from Lowndes St and Cadogan Square, which runs into...

I was surprised to see this hotel had such a high approval rating from Tripadvisor (95% I think), after scrolling through the official and visitors' pictures, decided to stay there. I typically stay in 5 star hotels and have found London hotels to have small and poky rooms but this hotel changed all my expectations. My room was large, the...

We got a really welcoming reception. The service was outstanding. I requested an electrical extension lead and it appeared within five minutes. The hotel is just completing various upgrades; but there was no disturbance to our stay. This was a special break for us and the hotel exceeded expectations.

We stayed 4 nights at the Halkin then returned for a night at the end of our trip as we loved it so much! Frankly speaking, we had already booked rooms in London at a five star hotel chain we've frequented as guests in other cities. At the suggestion of my brother-in-law, we switched reservations to The Halkin. This hotel turned out to be a little gem situated in Belgrave square, a quiet and pleasant area within walking distance to London's renown shopping districts...

Neighbourhood Profile
Belgravia
Home to the vast majority of embassies and diplomatic residences in London, sophisticated and upscale Belgravia also boasts a wealth of luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and some of the city’s most stroll worthy lanes. While the prices here are high, taking a leisurely stroll through the streets of picturesque and elegant white stucco houses is free. Hyde Park and the Buckingham Palace Gardens are only a stone's throw away to the north, and some of Europe’s best shopping is nearby as well.
