This is my second stay here and the place is perfect. Well-located, clean and with amazing staff. The place is a very good value. Breakfast is very good. The South Kensington area is a wonderful place to stay. Just a few minutes walk from the Tube stop.

There is a reason travel legend Rick Steves calls the Aster House his home away from home in London! We arrived after an overnight flight quite early and our hostess held our luggage until our room was ready so we could immediately explore and start our touring of London. She was eager to answer questions and make us welcome. We also had door to door pick up from Heathrow to our accommodations, arranged by her. The site is impeccably maintained, the rooms are well appointed. Our room was a standard size, but offered air conditioning - which is not the norm for bed and breakfast sites in our travels, and even had a patio with plants and a small garden through French doors in our room- such an oasis for being in a city! The bed was also comfortable and bathroom functional. The morning breakfast had a nice variety of pastries, toasts, meats and eggs, with tea/coffee. We found South Kensington is quiet and seemed safe, just far away from the hustle bustle tourist center of the city, but plenty of pubs, restaurants and shops within walking distance. Beautiful neighborhood too! Easy access to the tube or any cab you may want to get around the London. Pricing is very fair and reasonable for a city site with amenities and comfort. …

Our family stayed in two rooms at the Aster House because Rick Steves wrote that it is his favorite B&B in London. We will return to the Aster House because the experience was so wonderful. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The rooms are incredibly lovely and well maintained. Both our rooms were impeccably clean and had everything we needed. Although the B&B is on a quiet street, pubs, grocery stores and tube station are just a short walk away. Perfect location, perfect hosts.

We did a girls trip to London and stayed at Aster House based on Rick Steve’s recommendation. There were three of us and the superior poster suite with the addition of a roll away bed accommodated us. The room was immaculate! I cannot say enough about Leoni, she answered all our questions prior to our stay and was so attentive to all our needs upon arrival. She is extremely hard working and can tell she takes such pride in her business. As others state in their reviews, great location with the tube and many restaurants to choose from within walking distance. We loved Leoni and our stay at Aster House!

We loved Aster House! Old world charm and modern conveniences. We stayed in the Superior Poster Suite 5 nights - the room was large and comfortable, plenty of closet, desk and dresser space. Comfortable king size bed, sparkling clean modern bathroom. Excellent Daikin split unit kept us cool. Good wifi and enough outlets. Although the room faced the street, it was remarkably quiet. Lovely copious breakfast with cooked to order eggs and other goodies, served in the beautiful orangerie. The location could not be better - on a beautiful quiet street with almost no traffic but just around the corner were plenty of restaurants, a pub, gelaterie, and South Kensington tube station and many buses. 5 minutes walk from the V&A Museum. And last but not least, Leonie was a superb host, so helpful and friendly. This will be our London hotel of choice!…

Aster House was absolutely wonderful. Leoni arranged transportation for us from Windsor to London and was there to greet us upon our arrival. The rooms are incredibly comfortable, clean, quiet, and had everything we needed. There are numerous restaurants, shops, stores, museums, and the underground station within a very short walking distance from the House. Even though the House is very close to everything, it is extremely quiet and peaceful, even during the day. The breakfast was very nicely prepared and abundant. Leoni was available at all times and made sure her guests were well cared for. I rarely leave reviews but Aster House is a treasure. I look forward to returning.

Lovely reasonably-priced B&B on a quiet street in beautiful Kensington. Rooms are not large but are very nicely decorated. The B&B is spotless and there is daily housekeeping (not always the case in even the most expensive hotels). We enjoyed an ample breakfast in Aster House's very nice L'Orangerie room on the second floor, overlooking Sumner Place and the inn's back and side gardens. We would definitely look to return on a future visit to London.

Wonderful place to stay in South Kensington. Aster House is very well maintained, very clean, and Leonie is very hospitable and accommodating. Aster House is located just a five-minute walk to the South Kensington Tube Station which is serviced by three separate lines, making Aster House a very convenient place to stay to easily get around London. In addition to being well maintained and very clean, the establishment is also quiet. The beds were also comfortable. Leonie clearly takes very good care of her establishment.

My husband and I had an excellent stay at the Aster House, March 21-25, 2023. It was my third Aster House Stay within 11 years, all great stays. Leonie is a wonderful hostess, and we thank her for all of her help. The rooms are very comfortable and elegant, clean, quiet, and an overall joy. Breakfast is also a main attraction with many choices for hot food and cereals, breads, fresh pastries. London tube access at South Kensington Station is just a very short distance, in addition to the easy walking distances to Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park, Royal Albert Hall, Victoria and Albert Museum. I look forward to my next stay!!!

This b&b was perfect for us. Clean and well run, owners are friendly and very helpful, breakfast is excellent, rooms well decorated. South Kesington is a great location. East tube access, good restaurants. Highly recommend. If ever we return to London this is where we will stay
