The Hide London garners high praise for its pristine and cozy rooms, with a special nod to their soundproofing, although a few guests mention the rooms are on the smaller side. Its prime location is celebrated for easy access to public transport and proximity to central London. The hotel's staff are repeatedly commended for their exceptional service, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. Guests also appreciate the great value, which includes free parking and a praised continental breakfast, despite occasional comments on price. The hotel's quiet ambiance, despite its bustling setting, is another highlight for visitors.

A small hotel with a lot of character.
Unfortunately the hotel is located a little outside of London (the train to London is about 300 meters away and you can be in the city in about 20 minutes) but that doesn't do much to spoil the experience.
I have rarely found such a clean hotel on my many trips. The staff are more than friendly, if we had stayed a few more nights we would have been happy!
Our room was small but it was enough, there was a cupboard, an armchair and a large bed in the room.
The bathroom was almost new, there was no problem here and it was super clean! Unfortunately there were a few problems, but that's the case in most hotels. You get new towels in your room every day.
For your enjoyment there is a kettle with tea bags and instant coffee in the cupboard for you to make yourself, two small biscuits are also waiting to be eaten.
A fridge with a fresh bottle of water every day rounds off the room.
Breakfast for £7.50 is more than enough. The coffee comes fresh from the fully automatic machine and you get everything you want.
And the service, ILKNOR alone is a pearl, she knows everything and remembers it. On the second day, she knew which of us wanted which coffee and that continued until the end.
We'll be happy to come back and look forward to the best service!!!!!

Anthony and I always love our stay at The Hide hotel in Hendon, this time we stayed for 4 nights as we had a family wedding and a concert.
Joanna on reception is always amazing she always does our booking and is very helpful, nothing is too much trouble for her. I wanted to know what one of the bedrooms looked like on the first floor and she took some photos and emailed them over.
It’s always great to catch up with Alessandro, he always goes that extra mile to ensure your stay is great, and he has the ability to engage with guests who have come to stay from anywhere in the world. He is just charming.
I always have my favourite apple and yoghurt concoction for breakfast prepared for by the wonderful, fantastic, Ilknur. She is jus so efficient and even when she’s busy and under pressure she is always smiling.
On Day 2 I wanted another apple and yoghurt concoction and Ilknur prepared it for me even though she was busy serving guest tea and coffee. On Day 4 the apple and yoghurt concoction was at our breakfast table a few minutes before I had come down. This is customer service at its best. Ilknur you are a role model for excellent customer service.
The reason I have only given the hotel 4 stars is that I find the pillows quite hard and I prefer a softy pillow so this time I brought my own pillow. In addition there are no make up mirrors in the bathroom, so before I select the room Anthony and I staying in I have to ensure the mirror on the wardrobe door faces the window. This time I actually brought my own make up mirror however the table I wanted to put it on was in a dark corner so I couldn’t use that. It’s so easy to attach a retractable shaving mirror to the tiles and very inexpensive to do.

My daughter and I have had a very pleasant overnight stay at this hotel. Although on a busy road (good for nearby Transport) we slept extremely well in a comfortable spacious room with a good sized bathroom ( large walk-in shower only) with complimentary L’Occitane toiletries. Breakfast was fine and plentiful for the price although a full English is not on the menu. Most commendable were the extremely helpful and pleasant staff. Thank you Ilknur and Amarjet for your warm welcome and advice on bus routes and ordering taxis etc. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Pension staff is extremely friendly, special mention to Ilknur for its kindness, and availability (our teenagers particularly enjoyed hot chocolate with the little extra cream in the morning).
.
The rooms are extremely well soundproofed (the street is very busy, but once in the Pension it is a haven of peace), the bedding very good quality. Pension has free parking and is well located (metro 200m, shops, etc.),
Breakfast was quite correct, fresh fruit, cheeses, etc.. that of our daughters was included at no extra charge (12 and 16 years).

We were very impressed with this small, well-designed hotel conveniently near Hendon Central underground station. Our room and bathroom were clean and, although the window looked out onto a main city road the noise levels were minimal, thanks to good sound insulation. The hotel only offers a cold continental breakfast but it was one of the best we have come across, both for variety and presentation. Amar, the staff member who looked after us, could not have been more helpful and is to be commended. We would definitely stay at The Hide again when we visit London although it may be a little too small and with limited facilities for a longer stay than a few nights.

From the moment we pulled up (admittedly, a tight squeeze in my campervan), we were made to feel welcome by the staff.
The hotel is a gem, hidden away in plain view, not far from Hendon Tube Station (about 2-3 minutes walk) and easily missed if you're listening to my SatNav 🤣.
Our room (4) was on ground floor and, although slightly smaller than we're used to, it was perfectly formed.
The room overlooks the rear of the hotel and so is quieter than I expect the front rooms are as they overlook a busy road.
The bed is large and very comfortable (I was asleep in minutes) and has independently fitted lights on either side. Tea making facilities are great with kettle, cups and a selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate. The fridge is equipped with complimentary bottles of Harrogate water rather than cheap unbranded stuff found in some other hotels we've stayed at.
A well appointed bathroom had good sized shower with complimentary, high-end toiletries by L'Occitane. Nice!!

Sadly, we were only here for one night as we'd driven to London to see a show. Hendon Central tube is just a few minutes stroll from The Hide (turn right as you leave the hotel and its on the crossroads in front of you) and Shaftesbury Avenue is 35 minutes away. (August 2023, £3.00 fare)
We have much more yet to visit in London and this is going to be our base for those future trips.

Big thanks to all the people at The Hide, can't wait to see you again soon.

We booked this hotel in March for a family wedding we were attending in December and we wanted to be close to family, the venue and the Northern Line. This hotel proved to be an excellent location, being only a two-minute walk from Hendon Central and a thirty-minute tube ride into the west end. It was also five minutes by Uber to the venue. The location was perfect.

The hotel itself is very clean, the bathroom fittings are new and the water is plentiful and hot. The bed was very comfortable to sleep in and amazingly, the linen and towels were changed daily. The daily included breakfast is more than adequate to get you through to lunch or even dinner!
But what makes this hotel stand apart is the friendliness and efficiency of the numerous staff who cannot do enough to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Special mentions go to Joanna who checked us in, and made us coffee as our room was prepared for early check-in, and Amarjeet, who took care of us daily in the dining room. Both made us feel at home from home.

Next time we're in London, this will be our destination.

A first class stay from start to finish, it was only an overnight night stay but the welcome we received, the quality of the accommodation and the breakfast were all excellent. We were initially concerned about the noise levels, given the proximity to the main road, but this vanished as soon as we walked through the front door. The room was lovely, and the power shower was as good as any 5 star hotel I have stayed at. Breakfast was also very good with plenty of options and I have to give a shout out to Ilknur who made some delicious coffees.
The proximity to Hendon Central, made it a perfect location for us, as we were visiting near by and only 20 mins from Euston station. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit London and doesn't want to pay some of the crazy prices for hotels in the centre, as access to Central London is so very easy and reasonable.

Room was clean. Bed very comfortable. Bedding good quality. Shower room modern with lovely shower & good quality toiletries. Plenty of towels which where good quality. Room had plenty of hanging & storage with a small fridge containing bottled water. & individual cartons of milk. Even though the hotel is near a main road there was no traffic noise & when the curtains were closed they shut out any light from outside.
The continental breakfast was excellent value for money with plenty of choice, food was fresh, well presented and tasty. Hot drinks were freshly made for each guest. There was no rush for us to finish our breakfast and to leave the dining room, meaning we could leisurely chat during and after our breakfast.
Ilknur was on reception when we arrived & made us feel very welcome. All the staff were helpful and friendly but professional.
We will definitely stay again at The Hide Hotel, London.

We stayed here in June 2023 as we were attending a concert at Wembley. I rang in the morning of our arrival to see if they could provide early check in, they kindly put a note on to get our room cleaned for arrival. Upon arrival, there is not a lot of parking (5 spaces) so if you do drive there, be aware of this. I went in and asked for early check in, the lovely staff Ilknur and Toanna kindly got a room quickly sorted for us, as ours was not cleaned yet.
The room was clean, had good complimentary amenities and was spacious enough for two people. The bed was comfy and the shower was powerful. Really nice touches having a mini fridge with water in and cookies with the hot drinks. Only flaws to this room was the hairdryer cable being boxed in so unable to move it far, meaning drying hair is a bit difficult. There was also no TV remote but we didn’t watch this so not an issue for us.
Breakfast the next morning was okay, I was expecting a hot cooked breakfast but I was unaware it was a continental one. Would have liked the option of a hot breakfast but I’m unsure if the facilities the hotel has for this. Ilknur makes a great flat white though!
Checkout was easy.
Overall, I would recommend this if you’re staying in London, easy enough to get the tube into central London or get to Wembley. The tube station is literally a 2 minute walk from the hotel. It’s clean, has excellent staff and comfortable beds - that’s all you really need in a good hotel.

Hello, as previously said we neither did feel any harm taking the tube in the evenings hours. I can confirm that rooms are quite small but there is waiting a small surprise for you on your arrival-chocolates which is a nice touch of this hotel. Another touch of this hotel is paté served on the breakfast, I would say this is one of the rare hotels if not the only one where I saw it served.

It's only a couple of hundred meters from Hendon Central tube station. Turn right out the hotel and it'll be on your right in 2 minutes! It's the northern line, so takes you straight to some great places like Buckingham palace, tower bridge, Camden and borough markets. The wife and I have just got back today from another 2 night stay! Hope that helps?
