Stayed here as we went to see wicked, good check in, pleasant receptionist just the rooms are really small and out dated, breakfast was lovely though but again very small area so couldn't imagine what it would be like if really busy, good location to theatres and the tube station

1 night away with the hubby started off well. Got the tube to Victoria and walked to the holiday inn (nearest tube actually Pimlico) we checked in all all seemed good. Smallest hotel but staff seemed nice. We were on the 4th floor in room 406. Well it's safe to say this is the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed...

The staff were really friendly and the hotel was clean (although Saturday morning they were scrubbing the grouting on the floor tiles with bleach so it smelt like a swimming pool!). The room was tiny (husband with size 11 feet struggled to get out of bed as only size 11 + 1" room between bed and radiator) but clean. The...

When we arrived the front desk manager had already written a personal letter with her personal contact details should we need to contact her. The service was exceptional and personal. Whatever we requested for was attended to promptly. The only areas for improvement would have been what appeared to be a staff shortage. Otherwise a great place to stay and...

Stayed here 2 weeks on the trot and 6 nights in total. The hotel is in a beautiful old building and if you get a room at the front on the 5th floor you get some great views. The rooms are quite small but comfortable. Bar area is tiny. This is a hotel to stay at not one to eat...

For one night this hotel is in a great location. The interior gives you the feel you're in a residential home - and the rooms are average although mine was spotless and had everything you need. Staff polite and helpful - buffet breakfast limited (no bacon / tomato / mushroom) but sausages / scrambled egg not bad at all. Overall...

We met up with friends in London for the weekend and chose this hotel mainly due to location. Breakfast could definitely be improved, I have had better at other Holiday Inn Express hotels. The room was comfortable but some renovations could be made.

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
