We visited London and stayed here last night. The room was compact, but nice, spotlessly clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. Could not fault them. Observed cleaning in the public areas, which was excellent. Breakfast was good, and plenty available in the current climate. We were out most of the time, and this was perfect for our requirements. We would definitely stay again.
I stayed here for 3 nights in early March. The central location was ideal but would have been nice to have had a food option at the hotel. Room was absolutely fine and met all requirements. A reasonable "budget" option given the location.
Very close to Tate Modern, walking distance. Close to Kings College accommodations, so it fees that there are some students in nearby pubs. Walking distance to the Blackfriars or Waterloo bridge, you can even cross the Thames into the Covent Garden area. Rooms ok, bathroom ok, quite clean, has a small garage downstairs. Double digit price is an advantage. Staff is friendly. Covid breakfast is not very impressive. I would opt one of the cafes in the area or close to state Modern.
Went for an impromptu trip to London. A’ busy doing nothing ‘weekend. This place is great. Very central. Close to river, Tate, underground. It only took 20 mins to walk to Covent Garden. Clean quiet & comfy and a very reasonable price. What’s not to like.
Excellent value and service. Hotel staff are fantastic Stayed for a weekend and the location was great for Southwark then across to wherever. Far better to stay here than some overpriced place that's "more central" - the South Bank is so much more interesting - especially Borough Market and places off Southwark Street. Anyway, you can be in Covent Garden in about 20 mins on foot. The hotel is very quiet but the area is superb.
