First of all my husband and I, and few other people where waiting outside in the cold for minutes because the door can only be opened with a security code and nobody answered even after ringing the doorbell several times. We ended up calling them on the phone just to let them know we're outside. The worst part of the...

A great budget hotel, a nice warm welcome, able to park in hotel drive and go to a nice warm simple room that is good for the price, very clean, free coffee and tea tray, working tv, hot running water, good shower. All your basic homely needs. Plus the lovely people there welcome your dog and give you a amazing...

If staying on a Monday night, ask for room at rear of property (the noise may be less intrusive) as around 3am-4am will appear Veola industrial waste collection lorry to noisily back up (beep beep beep) and put the huge wheelie bins on the truck for emptying. As they are on front forecourt, the bedrooms overlooking (especially ground floor) are...

The staff consisted of one young man who was very polite and friendly. The facility could use renovations. It is not a place for young people the wifi works great down stairs but not well in the rooms. The rooms were run down laundry was thrown on the side of the stairs. Excellent location to subway and shopping.

26 _30December Abbey Lodge Hotel b b I stayed at the above accommodation on these dates. I found the stay an all together nightmare starting the min we received the room key. The room was no more than a glorified cupboard with the addition of a shower and toilet, the area had an awful stench of bad drainage, and no signs of...

If I've stayed in a worse hotel, I can't remember when. Even allowing for the very low price we paid, this place falls way below the standard that you should be able to expect. Four of us stayed one night in two twin rooms. There were half eaten biscuits on the bedroom floor, I had a towel the size of...

Seemed ok at first but they couldn't give us any directions... no english, room was absolutely freezing didn't sleep at all, blankets in wardrobe stank, room was absolutely filthy with cobwebs and dust... looked in the kettle and didn't use it as it had sludge in it. I wouldn't have put my dog in the shower. Broken window vent in...

As soon as I walked in, the smell of urine hit me. Nevertheless, myself and my boyfriend were greeted by the manager whom was very helpful - he allowed us to leave our luggage in the living room area as our room was not ready. We stayed in room 1 which included everything we were needing for our 3 overnight...

Just don't! To be honest I was going to leave my review as just that - "Just Don't," but Trip Advisor requires at 200 words. It's been a while since I've stayed in a B&B like this and reminds me why I book Travel Lodge or Premier Inn. I stayed in the single room (cupboard) - old, dirty, tired, musky...

We booked a king-sized bed with additional charges for that, but to my surprise, the bed was just a double-sized one. I tried explaining to the guy that we paid more for a bigger bed, but he just said, "that's our biggest bed." I'm sorry, but it didn't even looked like queen-sized, much more king! The radiator doesn't turn on....
